Oh goodness Serf you've got me reminiscing now! I remember Keith's "being hung over at work" thread as one of the funniest I ever read - that makes me sound like a proper sadist but it's just the way she told it! Was the "horrible boss' ridiculous house for sale" thread one of Keith's too?

How awful , thinking of her family and her dd in particular.

This is so sad, I hope there is some way to pass on this thread to her DP perhaps? Such a witty yet dry witted poster, I always paused for thought during her posts wondering "seriously"?! But they were always serious!

This is such sad news and reading everyone's memories of her is especially poignant.

I remember CTK'S posts about the tiny puppy in her office Serf.

I'm on holiday and after a Carry On like situation I have finally got a bottle of wine and a candle lit for CatThiefKeith.

Fuck. This really hit me like a punch in the stomach. I wasn't an rl friend of CTK's, but I do remember being on many a thread talking about having a DH (in my case, DP) who worked weekend nights. Her DH and my DP are in similar lines of work.

She was so witty, and lovely, and vibrant. For me, she was part of the fabric of MN. It will be a much less happy, funny place without her.

For those of you who knew her in RL - I'm so sorry for your loss. And please give my love and support to her DH and DD.

Oh Keith for your family. She was a poster who I recognised and loved reading her input on things. I remember reading her posts on a thread and thinking 'yup, that's exactly what I think too'. Very down to earth and a genuinely lovely lady.

Oh gosh that's such sad news and such a shock.

I will always remember her for going to visit a poster who was stuck in hospital (possible pregnant) and bored and sad. She took her loads of magazines & chocolates and they had a good chat. Always such a funny poster.

Bloody hell, she will be awfully missed on here, can't imagine how her family are feeling.

I'll miss her slightly surreal stories. And the occasional long -winded protestations that no really, she isn't trolling and here's why She was genuinely very funny and a true one off.

P.S. Does anyone remember the thread(s?) about her bonkers boss, answerphone messages and a puppy in the office?

Was she the poster who stayed in a tent for her sister and was left with her dd in the pouring rain, and her dad rescued her ?

Oh my god, how terrible. CTK was always one of the posters who stuck in my mind because she was so funny and great. I am genuinely shocked and saddened.

So sad to hear this, I loved reading her threads, loved the one about her boyfriends birthday especially where the friend had taken over the organising of it and we were given a run down of the nights events .

And I'm all for highlighting the symptoms of adult meningitis, I was diagnosed with it when i was 34, not long after id given birth to my ds ,I was sent home by my dr twice with migraine tablets to take. It was thanks to my mum who came around and called an ambulance for me because she didnt believe the dr's that I'm one of the lucky ones.
