To have bought ds's teacher a giant kestrel?

I mean at least she won't get a duplicate and it make a change from 'best teacher' mugs?!

Asked ds what she liked - gardening apparently. DS's class is kestrel class so aha I thought. A little kestrel ornament for the garden. Except it is not little. No no. It is a gigantic genetically modified kestrel. Maybe she can put it at the bottom of the garden so it looks smaller?!

Well this was an option. But it's inferior compared to KoD. I feel it is truly hideous.

That bird is terrifying. I am scared of birds Blush and this has done nothing to ease my fear. It looks like it's watching me and weighing me up.

I wouldn't be going to parents evening with that in the classroom judging me Grin

Is this the only kestrel-themed gift available for teacher of kestrel class? Perhaps she already has a dark cupboard full of them - now that would be something!

I haven't seen many bird related things in ds's school actually. Probably a dearth of kestrel related items. Although some classes are owls so I suspect they get rather more owl gifts. Owls are on lots of things.

My children are in classes named after birds. There are a zillion bird related items in every class.
It's more a present for the class than the teacher, it's not something she would take home

I am really really unhappy that windfucker kestrel of doom are Out of Stock. (Not that I'm a teacher I just really want one!)

Yes ds won't be a kestrel next year. He will be a hawk!

But his teacher gets a new flock of kestrels.

My sons class is Kestrel too-Peers at silverlining17 suspiciously and starts looking for awkwardly wrapped kestrel shaped presents in the playground

I think that her child was n Kestrel class this year and the teacher will be staying with Kestrel class next year when OP's DC moves on....

I'd love it. We have Norbert the Garden Ornament Dragon who watches over our class. The kids adore him, and I do in fact often use the phrase 'you are making Norbert sad' and they stop what they are doing lol.
