Anyone got some to share?
Please.. I cannot be the only one..
Following my 6 week coil check yesterday, I text my ds's friends mum to check she was still okay to have my ds after school.
I was also in the midst of texting a friend about the appointment saying 'I was a bit worried at one point when the nurse said "This is a good sign, I can see Fred" then I realised she had said thread'.
I quickly followed this up with another text asking 'who is this tiny man living in my vagina?'.
I sent it to my ds's friends mum didn't I.
The poor woman got 'Are you still okay to have ds after school today' 'Who is this tiny man living in my vagina'.
The absolute shame Blush

I posted this a while back but it fits here -
I received an email from DD's tutor and a text message from DH at the same time and mixed up my responses. DH was telling me that he would be very late home so I text him back to say no problem, his tea would be in the oven and don't be noisy because I was knackered and having an early night. Or I thought I did. Yep, sent it to the form tutor instead and DH got a standard 'thanks for the info' type response.
Got an email straight back from the tutor saying thanks but he had his own tea waiting for him at his house Grin Blush
The teachers at that school are very understanding...

I once text a friend, to say dp was going out, and she could call round for girly catch up, but she'd have to sneak in because the baby was napping in her pram by the front door.

I think I said something along the lines of:

Dp is heading out now, call round if you fancy but you'll have to sneak in.

I accidentally sent it to dp and then realised it looked awfully like I was inviting someone over for sexy times.

Stingray2008 · 12/01/2017 16:27

I once accidently text my a workman miss you instead of dp was texting about getting stuff done to the house at the same time as txting dp. Got a very angry phonecall from his wife thinking something dodgy was going on needles to say i didnt use them Confused

Oh I also sent a messenger message to the wrong person once, my gay stepbrother and it was a meme saying no wonder gay guys dress so well when they spent so long being in the closet. He would of found it hilarious. And did when I sent him it and told him how I'd accidentally sent it to the guy who'd just sent me a quote for blinds for my windows after being out measuring the windows that day. Didn't even realise till he sent back ??? He was really hot too. Funnily he didn't come personally to fit the blinds and sent his (equally hot) brother.

EggnoggAndMulledWine · 12/01/2017 16:17

Hahaha bet she was gutting herself. I sent my area manager a message meant for my husband about how heavy and painful my period was that had just started, mortified. I text apologising and it was never mentioned again luckily.

IHaventStoppedCravingYet · 12/01/2017 16:15

I work with DP but we don't live together. We were messaging on what's app one evening and I replied to a message he sent me about his footie team winning with 'yay and I'll give you a bj tomorrow'. But turns out he hadn't just sent the footie message to me. He'd switched to our work team what's app group and sent it to whole team and I'd accidentally replied to whole team. Mortified doesn't even cover it Blush. I had to email everyone to apologise next day. They all thought it was hilarious. He warns me now if he's posting on that group while talking to me!!

Greenfingeredfun · 12/01/2017 16:01

I'm now worrying about all the screenshots I've sent!

OP posts:
YouHadMeAtCake · 11/01/2017 18:55

Also screenshot photos where you get all mini versions along the bottom, of the other photos in the camera roll, if you zoom in on them , you can see a fair bit of detail.

I had been taking photos to see the difference in my body shape. So when I picked a photo of something unrelated to send in message , I did not realize it was a screenshot and not the actual photo. Thank goodness it was only sent to my sister as she pointed out whilst laughing very loudly down the phone that she could see all these mini images of a naked me! Blush I dread to think who I could have sent it too! I am very careful now! Grin

I was on the receiving end of a text which wasn't meant for me? It was from my sons SEN taxi driver thanking me for making his part (he actually named it "little" [his name] stand to attention...

It was quickly followed by OH SHIT WRONG [my name] I'm so sorry!

At 2am!!!!

Greenfingeredfun · 11/01/2017 17:54

Oh OP that is funny!

A few years ago but I still cringe. We had to make a choice between two companies to do some work in the house. A was constantly calling , texting and emailing and quite frankly driving me mad! He would call me then when I didn't answer he would call DH and sometimes both at the same time Grin B was barely in touch at all and seemed far more relaxed.

After yet another text from A , I text DH to along the lines of "'I am utterly fucking sick and tired of A he can just duck off. He's driving me nuts, lets go with B. He's much less of a twat"

So obviously I sent it to A! He text me right back with "I will take it from that text you're not going to use me. Regards, the Twat. Blush

Sadly the other guy was just awful , ripped us off and fucked it up . I should have gone with the first guy. Grin That will teach me.

Not a text as such, but I did it on my phone so it sort of counts.

A few years ago mid-week morning after a work's night out, I had been texting a couple of friends on my blackberry about a phone being handed over during the evening for colleagues to look at baby pictures and they had swiped a little too far and found some intimate photographs, handed the phone back without telling the owner, and then promptly told me.

I typed out the tale of what had happened, sent it to one friend, then copied, pasted and sent to the second friend. Thought no more about it.

Then, late that evening, I started to look at work emails on my phone. One was urgent and required some technical jargon to be copied and pasted into another email that I had to send to two senior managers in the organisation I worked for - one was the head of technical security.

Something hadn't worked properly and what was actually pasted into the email was the text I had sent to my friends earlier in the day. I started pressing the delete button very quickly when I realised but my blackberry froze part way through and then the email disappeared off the screen! Absolutely aghast, I had to run downstairs, fire up my laptop, connect to the VPN, open my emails, found that the email had sent, recall the message, and then type the correct message with a title that said ignore previous email.

I received two message recall failures and for days afterwards, I lived in terror of being hauled up by my manager about sending such an offensive email to somebody who had a big bee in their bonnet about the security of work emails.

What did it say?

"and in the middle there was a picture of a big black cock going into her arsehole"

Still makes me howl with laughter Grin

Nah mags! She should have asked for his honest opinion!

When I was 17, I accidentally sent a text about my crush to my crush - and there was no way he could think I was talking about someone else. When I realised what I had done, I got into such a tizz I ended up sending it another two times Blush

Emmageddon · 11/01/2017 17:40

I was on the receiving end of an embarrassing text from my 19yo son, but before I read it, I got another text within seconds, saying 'mum please delete that text without reading it, it was meant for my girlfriend, sorry!'
So because I'm a nice mum (and I really don't want to read personal text messages between my son and his GF, I deleted it without reading it Grin I was giggling at the thought of his panic, realizing he'd sent a possibly raunchy text to his mum by mistake.

Abraiid2 · 11/01/2017 17:40

These have made my day!

Ratonastick · 11/01/2017 17:37

I once text a long, heartfelt account of an insanely romantic one nighter with a crush (including a deep analysis of longstanding but suppressed feelings for said crush) to my best friend.

You know where this is going........ yep, went to the crush himself.

I swear it took three months for my toes to uncurl and the inner scream to stop.

He was remarkably gallant and has never mentioned it again. But we both know he got it and he read it.

EdmundCleverClogs · 11/01/2017 17:35

I was once simultaneously texting my boyfriend and my friend. Boyfriend was irritating me, friend was having a a down day (and suffered depression). The inevitable happened - texted something along the lines of 'I really can't be bothered with you today'. My poor friend texted back 'Oh. Very sorry, I don't mean to be a bother' in understandably hurt tone.

I was mortified, genuinely thought I had ruined a good friendship. Luckily my friend knows my partner very well and laughed it off as a genuine mistake. I was embarrassed though, seemingly telling a friend to sod off with their issues - an accidental sexting would have been easier to explain!

I messaged my older sister once with the cringeworthy text that read 'can't wait to suck your cock later'

BewtySkoolDropowt · 11/01/2017 17:33

OMG. For the ops story alone this needs to be in classics!

Thanks so much for sharing, you have brightened up a dark, wet and VERY windy day!

MadMags · 11/01/2017 17:28

The best part was the sheer panic afterwards! Should she phone him? Text him to explain? Emigrate?? It was fabulous! Grin

I regularly play tennis with an ex boyfriend. All totally innocent .
I'm drving to tennis club to meet him for a game when my phone pings with a text message. Obviously I can't read it.
As I pull into car park, phone pings again.

So I park and read both messages from him.
The second one reads "dreadfully sorry, that was meant to be to (his wife) not you"
First one was an undying declaration of love and slush (they're a very cute couple)

So I see him waiting by the court, and run up and say "I got your text! At last! I love you too! When are we going to tell wife and husband ?!!"
Just to see the look of panic on his face...
