Other than teasel, easel, or measle?
Writing a sweary poem, and really wanted to include it but struggling to find a rhyme that isn't completely out of context.....

This is amazing.

GeorgeTheThird · 19/11/2016 18:08

What? Bugger. How do you PM someone then, has it moved?!

GeorgeTheThird · 19/11/2016 18:07

I've a feeling it doesn't remain your intellectual property now you have posted it in MN. I hope that doesn't matter.

Reading this is the first time I've been properly happy since the election so thanks!

squishysquirmy · 19/11/2016 17:53

Please feel free to share or repost if you like. If you want to credit it to someone, credit it to "Harriet" or "a mumsnetter". It remains my intellectual property, but you are welcome to pass the poem on.
I am actually working on a redraft but if you want to copy it, do it now.... not everyone likes it and there's a possibility it may be deleted.

Brilliant. Needs a very sharp, acerbic reading on YouTube. Hats off to you!

BeingATinselTwatItsABingThing · 19/11/2016 17:27

Wow! That sums him up to perfection!

MistressMolecules · 19/11/2016 14:59

That is brilliant! Another standing ovation from me! Star

myoriginal3 · 19/11/2016 13:52

Legend!

ExitPursuedBySpartacus · 19/11/2016 13:44

I'm normally a bit of a prude but that is bloody fantastic.

MadeForThis · 19/11/2016 12:58

Wow

GrabtharsHammer · 19/11/2016 12:56

Fantastic!

FannyWisdom · 19/11/2016 12:46

IMHO the profanity is the stamp of a great many mnetters..

Even SparklingB secretly likes it Wink

Keeping shitty online rags and bored kids away is just another pro.

MrsDOnofrio · 19/11/2016 12:41
Shock

That is stunningly wonderful.

HemanOrSheRa · 19/11/2016 12:40

I don't know you but I love you squishy Grin. That is EPIC!

ChaChaBlah · 19/11/2016 12:37

Brilliant!

Namechangenurseryconcerns · 19/11/2016 12:34

That is incredible. It needs a public viewing. I suggest you ask mumsnet politely to cover your posting tracks and get it out there!!

In my book Fanny, never. But we have to think of the children, clutch pearls, etc.

FannyWisdom · 19/11/2016 12:29

Is there such a thing as too sweary? Hmm

FretYeNotAllIsShiny · 19/11/2016 12:23

Can I share it on my facebook with the credit to 'an amazingly talented mumsnetter'?

ElphabaTheGreen · 19/11/2016 12:06

Maybe someone in MNHQ could cut-copy-paste to the MN FB page and post it? Or is it too sweary?

WellErrr · 19/11/2016 11:59

Best thing I've read in AGES.

I really want to share it!

Imissmy0ldusername · 19/11/2016 11:38

I would love to share this on my FB but it would be odd not being able to credit someone with it. Can I email it to my mum instead?. She loves politics and a well crafted swear...

MardyBra · 19/11/2016 11:36

Flowers you are incredibly talented OP. Love it.
