Remind me again why it would be unreasonable to ban a fully function adult from touching the curtains?

It's a bendy pole. They do not need to be vigourously yanked with vigourously vigour to the ends of the pole.

If you do that then the poor smuck that closes them has to stand on the settee to put them back in the original place so they can open and shut with just a swish.

I don't see how it can be unreasonable to get a megaphone and scream

STOP FUCKING UP THE CURTAINS YOU BIG EVIL CURTAIN ANNHILATING BASTARD.

And yes this is the absolute most important thing I have to worry about. All other worries are mere vexations in comparison to this Angry

Bump

MayhemandMadness · 01/06/2016 10:15

I think you are missing a trick here to shutter him up, go curtainless, that'll teach him

dowhatnow · 01/06/2016 10:00

Actually I've been side blinded by all these comments.

I call for classics.

dowhatnow · 01/06/2016 09:58

Why does a blonde have curtains on her PC?
To open windows

nuttymango · 01/06/2016 06:56

I'll roller on over and take a look through the picture window then.

SpartaCarcass · 01/06/2016 00:15

You need to see the bigger Picture, it's net worth getting blinded by rage over it.

nuttymango · 31/05/2016 23:39

That's a very frosted response.

ExitPursuedByBear · 31/05/2016 23:38

Ahem.

TealLove · 31/05/2016 23:31

You sound so angry OP we may have to tie you back to restrain you!

fakenamefornow · 31/05/2016 23:21

No op, you must stay with him, he'd never manage without you, everything would be clear to see.

OnceMoreIntoTheBleach · 31/05/2016 23:21

Is this thread really sill going?

elephantoverthehill · 31/05/2016 23:10

When in Rome do as the Romans do. My advice is to ring 101 and get the antimacassar squad around immediately.

clopper · 31/05/2016 23:07

He sounds a right pane to live with to be honest. If I were you I'd drop him and be lining up a new DP who wasn't so clumsy. He must do it deliberately every time to wind you up.

nuttymango · 31/05/2016 23:01

mummysparkle would that be Austrian blind by any chance?
All this talk of curtains reminds me of the theatre, maybe the op's dh acting is rather wooden, rather like shutters in fact.

BreakfastAtSquiffanys · 31/05/2016 22:59

I think you may need more than a solicitor.
What about a barrister? After all, they know all about Taking Silk

MummySparkle · 31/05/2016 22:57

OP I think this is a close curtain call, he must be blind not to see the issue here. You should give him one last draw to see if he can close the deal, otherwise your silver lining could be to count your net losses, LTB, go NC and blackout the whole thing.

Grin
GinIsIn · 31/05/2016 22:44

Ok Honey, I take back my puns from last night. Your DH should clearly be hung, drawn and quartered....

nuttymango · 31/05/2016 11:47

You've hooked a lot of people into this OP.

KoalaDownUnder · 31/05/2016 10:55

Seems like an open and shut case to me.

HoneyDragon · 31/05/2016 10:47

Mardle your solicters letters had me howling Grin

Tbf Dh's net Wink worth is more than that of his abuse of bay window poles, so it's not curtains for him yet.

What a fab thread for a rainy day - Grin

NeedACleverNN · 31/05/2016 09:55

Grin love it!

Sgtmajormummy · 31/05/2016 09:26

Your story got me twitching, OP. YANBU.

nuttymango · 31/05/2016 09:23

There have been so many great posts, it's hard to tell who is in pole position.

ohdogoaway · 31/05/2016 09:16

Clearly LTB and runner for the hills . Sounds as slippery as a pole-itician (see what I did there ...)
