IKEA sell toy fabric courgettes.

Oh yes they do.

bloodyteenagers · 09/05/2016 17:25

I would email back -
yes I agree the fridge
Should be used to solely contain employees lunches. joints of meat, multipack yogurts not permitted. There simply is not the space for everyone to store their families shopping, staff lunches and milk. It's everyone space and hogging is selfish even more so now the weather is getting
Warmer and people want chilled drinks and salads during the working day. Hopefully everyone is on the same page and family dinner hoggers stop removing others lunches.

I am a bitch though. I'm not ops IT bitch but I am an IT bitch lol.

DidYouBINmysushiyouTWAT · 09/05/2016 17:18

reply to all:
No. Also please note there are many birthdays in the next fortnight. Please be mindful that fridge space will be needed for all those lovely cakes.

Do courgettes freeze. ITBitch is going to Tesco's to see if there are any he can buy in bulk. He's joking in sure.

We are all a bunch of chinless hoofwanking-custards and doubt we'd actually load them all in the fridge 😁

If it's loaded with her shite tomorrow (boss not in) we are going to take it in turns the open the door and put the kettle in 😁 There's a fourth person we've managed to convert( it's her birthday on Thursday ) Grin

I'm eating sushi tonight also 🍛🍙🍚🍚

Shove that up your courgette hole!

I would ask why the fridge is not available for all staff during the day, seeing as this appears to be a problem too.

ChocolateBubbleBarsmakemefat · 09/05/2016 17:14

That email needs challenging before you go home tonight. Definitely make it clear that fridge should be used only for lunches etc

InternationalHouseofToast · 09/05/2016 17:11

I would reply that personal items such as butter or jam have a longer shelf life in the fridge and therefore do not need to be removed at the end of each day, so long as they have been labelled. Removing them and taking them home in the heat like today would cause them to spoil.

So long as the fridge is only being used for food to be comsumed during staff breaks, there will be plenty of room for items to remain in the fridge overnight if they need to be kept refridgerated.

pointythings · 09/05/2016 16:57

Okaaaayyy... So, since she always gets in first and stuffs the fridge with her crap, when you come in tomorrow and find it all, you innocently take it out and leave it on the side, put your lunch in, and if she says anything, you say "Oh, I thought it must have been left in here overnight, so I took it out - we got this email, you see....'

Nanasueathome · 09/05/2016 16:57

Make sure there are at least 6 courgettes

Nanasueathome · 09/05/2016 16:56

Be standing outside the office door, waiting for her to open it, with bags of stuff for the fridge
Even if you have to take home some of the stuff in there today and bring it back in the morning
Comment to her that you have shopping for the fridge and have been patiently waiting for her arrival so that you can put the stuff in there

covertblackberry · 09/05/2016 16:56

Agree that an email reply is needed!

dustarr73 · 09/05/2016 16:54

Ah found you.Was looking for this thread,i even started another one to ask was their an update.

PhoenixReisling · 09/05/2016 16:47

Send an email back with this?

Why......it only needs emptying at the end of the week, so it's empty again for Monday so that everyone can use it again.

Copy the boss in

diddl · 09/05/2016 16:47

How on board is anyone else?

Enough to barge past her & get to the fridge first?

Enough to take out her obvious shopping to make place for their lunch?

Surely if she is asking people to remove stuff at the end of the day she is acknowledging their "right" to use it for the day iyswim?

LordoftheTits · 09/05/2016 16:46

Take the door off the fridge.

shoeaddict83 · 09/05/2016 16:46

perhaps reply with an email saying that its no issue as it is a communal frigde and therefore no personal items that are not required for lunch or during the work day should not be stored in it anyway?

shoeaddict83 · 09/05/2016 16:45

bacon apologies thats the bit i couldn't remember from previous thread, whether she just arrived into office late or if she arrived late but made everyone else wait as she opened up!
Fair enough that ideas out the window then...

KarenW · 09/05/2016 16:40

this has gone full circle, and leaves the offended to carry on filling the fridge every morning as she has the keys... New strategy needed. This has entertained me since last week, so we cant stop now! think the reply to the email with "Why" is the best idea, swiftly followed by a purchase of petri dishes and agar jelly, which you can just smear your fingers over, hide in your desk for a couple of days to grow, then put them in the fridge, with resultant mold fur all over.

AskingForAPal · 09/05/2016 16:39

I think the only option is to hide the fridge

Baconyum · 09/05/2016 16:36

Shoeaddict the problem is fridge fucker is only one with keys and she shops before she opens up and immediately fills the fridge

shoeaddict83 · 09/05/2016 16:33

ok so remove your stuff - then stuff it full again in the morning before she arrives with her lunch! She cant complain then as you've done exactly as asked!!
If shes late in due to doing her shop then you can do this cant you? (or have i got it wrong that she arrives later than the rest of you??)

Squiff15 · 09/05/2016 16:26

So FMFF has basically sent an email to everyone saying "remove your crap lunch from my the company fridge every night so there is room for my family food shop in the morning."
She has more neck than a giraffe!

TheExtraGuineaPig · 09/05/2016 16:21

Please fill the fridge full to bursting with courgettes

My colleague has twat me over the head with a courgette..
Twistedheartache · 09/05/2016 16:20

Surely the email is Carte blanche for her to keep doing her daily shop since she does empty it every night......
Someone (brave ckc?) needs to reply all and say please be considerate to others and leave space for everybody's courgettes/lunch/sushi otherwise you're back to square one.
Viva la courgette

chemenger · 09/05/2016 16:17

So you should all reply (to all) to that email apologizing that you won't be able to do this because you have already have stuff for tomorrow. Send this after she goes home. You and the IT crew can have a chat about it by email accidentally copied to all, saying how it can't matter the odd thing being left overnight just this once (your boss is on the "all" email list I hope). Make sure you discuss how it will be fine if you label things so that nobody accidentally chucks it out.

Actually no, just reply to the email (copied to all) with the word "Why?".

PhoenixReisling · 09/05/2016 16:11

What are you going to do sushi?

I would still load the fridge....with courgettes....lots and lots of them.

This way if she dares throw them away....they can always be taken out of said bin and put straight back in.

Viva la revolution!
