Do you <ahem> collect water during a bath

Is this one of those things that happens to every woman but nobody talks about.

5 minutes after a bath and its like your water just broke...

This is a thing yeah?

AF

In my "TIAO" all that was on screen was

"Yep. I also get the reappearance of spunk" which had me wondering what sort of baths you take :o

waterfallfanny · 03/05/2016 21:04

I'm with you Anyfucker know that feeling as well. There you are minding your own business long after the deed was done and bleurgh, your fanny deposits a glob of spunk phlegm in your knickers. Lovely curious to know how you 'manage' it

KeepitDown · 03/05/2016 21:01

Never had this happen, 2 vaginal births + a CS, and I do the thing with legs over the edge of the bath too.

However, I do 'collect' air during sex, which then releases itself at noisy, random uncontrollable intervals afterward... sometimes during Blush [blush Blush.

ThomasRichard · 03/05/2016 20:59

Yep. After I had DC2. I now go to the loo after a bath and wear a Tena pad after swimming.

AnyFucker · 03/05/2016 20:59

Yep.

I also get the reappearance of spunk a couple of hours after sex too.

Lovely. I once confessed how I manage that and got a chorus of nooooos Wink

Bogeyface · 03/05/2016 20:59

Yep here too.

My friend was super excited to have a go on her DD's new trampoline after her DD had gone to bed. She had three bounces and then shot off saying "OMG I NEED A WEEEEE!!" as she disappeared into the house. :o:o

GooodMythicalMorning · 03/05/2016 20:58

I used to but not any more. Its a thing.

BillBrysonsBeard · 03/05/2016 20:56

I'm not sure if I do it or not! I will test it tonight and report back Grin

waterfallfanny · 03/05/2016 20:56

I was going to ask this very question. Am I the only one whose fanny burps out mouthfulls of swimming pool water every 500m or so on the walk home from the pool? Usually whilst I'm wearing my pale coloured skinny jeans so it looks like I've pissed myself! I tried sitting on a towel on the benches to let it drain naturally but it bloody well stays in! Instead I now fold a load of loo roll in my knickers until I get home. I think I need pelvic floors but just can't be bothered. My fanny guzzles pool water like a thirsty Irishman at the bar during happy hour.

AnotherPrickInTheWall · 03/05/2016 20:56

Oops, I see I have got the wrong end of the stick here!
No I don't but I think most women do.

grumpysquash3 · 03/05/2016 20:54

ha ha :)
Not so much in the bath, but I get this all the time in water parks. Especially after the slides that give you a swimming costume wedgie. Fortunately no one notices or cares. It is kind of warm though, it does feel like you've peed.

AnotherPrickInTheWall · 03/05/2016 20:54

I never pee in the bath, but if I turn on the shower I can't help myself.
Strange because I have strong bladder, stronger than before I had children.

MeepyMupp · 03/05/2016 20:54

This is never happened to me. I feel slightly left out

noodlingabout · 03/05/2016 20:53

Good to know Jane Grin, me neither, but the bath thing and the bouncing thing were covered in the same conversation. Both stuff that can happen after the joy of giving birth!

BennyTheBall · 03/05/2016 20:50

This happened to me briefly for a few weeks after I had dc2.

I used to say to dh I was taking on water like a broken boat.

It has stopped now, no idea why.

Janefromdowntheroad · 03/05/2016 20:47

NC from another thread

Janefromdowntheroad · 03/05/2016 20:47

I don't wee on the trampoline

noodlingabout · 03/05/2016 20:46

I have two DCs and this doesnt happen to me (yet) but friends have talked about it. And wee'ing themselves on trampolines.

I think it's pretty common but not inevitable after you've had kids.

So yeah, A Thing, for sure.

OhtoblazeswithElvira · 03/05/2016 20:44

Yes, it's happened to me a couple of times - before having kids. I've had no baths since having children (get dizzy from low blood pressure), only showers.

Great thread Grin

Knotnora · 03/05/2016 20:43

I don't think it's a muscle thing. DPs never complained anyway Hmm

I think it's opportunity to create a vacumn (swooshing and legs up)

MyBeard · 03/05/2016 20:42

Yes after having my two huge babies! It's a thing

MrsJayy · 03/05/2016 20:40

Should we all be clenching when we are bathing ?

whatevva · 03/05/2016 20:40

It used to happen after doing breaststroke. There would be a waterfall/deluge as I got out of the pool. I got put off swimming altogether after being in the pool with a group where one of them had crapped all over the loo, the floor, and trodden it all back to the pool. I had a rectocele repair job and tried swimming recently on holiday and it seems to have sorted it Smile

Pipbin · 03/05/2016 20:40

DP says its not a thing
Is DP the fully qualified owner of a vagina? If not then he can shut up.
It happens to me if I sit a certain way. No babies here.

Libitina · 03/05/2016 20:40

I've never had it happen to me. I quite often lie with one foot propped on the sink too.
