AIBU to think that comprehension just isn't a strong point with some people.

I've noticed this quite a lot over the time I have on MN.

Referring to a recent thread re early retirement. The poster quite clearly stated that DH wanted to retire in 14 months (when mortgage paid) and wanted her to retire at the same time. She is 10 years his junior and works part time.

OK, first answer was "So he wants you both to retire in early forties"

Second response "Can you change to part time work"

I can understand this if we were 10 pages into the thread because we don't all have time to read all responses, but come on, the first two responses?

I know you asked for tumble drier recommendations, but actually you'll be pleased to hear you don't need one. It really is no hassle to drape wet washing over every surface in your tiny damp Victorian terrace for days on end.

Yes it is difficult with twins in washables and a potty training toddler, but we manage fine doing this for two adults and a teenager in our dedicated utility room, you can too.

Even though the landlord wants to sell his house because his wife is pregnant with quads and just been made redundant you should refuse to move out and not pay rent as he is clearly a greedy money grabbing arsehole.

I know you say that your 9 month old is reciting Shakespeare and writing epic poetry along the lines of Homer in six languages that he's taught himself, but he just sounds ordinary to me. Why don't just you just try to enjoy him? My son however...

I EBF all my children and they are all junior members of MENSA. If everyone was EBF there would have been no misunderstanding of the OP. In fact, I now have NC with my mother because she did not EBF me and I have had to undergo years of therapy as a result.
