The Weather on TV will be a LOT shorter.

We will only have to wait 5 minutes for the weather girl to get round to us, instead of the usual 15 minutes, while they go all round the houses Scotland etc. Grin

Round Britain yacht races are going to have an overland element in future. That'll be interesting as they haul their boats out of the water at Berwick.....

FrankelandFilly · 18/09/2014 17:11

True Fox, but on the upside we won't be assaulted with "Mull of Kintyre" anymore Wink

FoxSticks · 18/09/2014 17:10

I've just had a really sad thought. When we are fuck-a-tuk will we no longer be able to march and belt out I'm gonna be (500 miles)' at weddings? Sad

Ididntseeitsoitdidnthappen · 18/09/2014 17:03

I think therefore I am (cogito ergo sum)

Cogitoergosometimes ... I think sometimes

HesterShaw · 18/09/2014 17:01

I've never got it. Should I get it? What is there to get? I only got SirChenjin not long ago

Legionofboom · 18/09/2014 16:55

Errol Grin

I feel completely stupid now because I have just got Cogito's username. Blush and Blush some more.

Redcoats · 18/09/2014 16:55

there'll be no chance of Judy winning Strictly
Imagine if she did, we'd have a serious diplomatic incident to get our glitter all back. It'll be like them marbles all over again.
Oh and that Andy's got one of our Wimbledon trophies as well.

CoreyTrevorLahey · 18/09/2014 16:54

Yes we are, Ididntseeit Wink

I'm a No, but if we do go our separate ways we won't have the stiff upper lipped English diluting our fierce slagginess!

Ididntseeitsoitdidnthappen · 18/09/2014 16:52

Scotland are the slags if the British isles!

ErrolTheDragon · 18/09/2014 16:50

I've always read it as Cogito, I think. --see what I did there==

Legionofboom · 18/09/2014 16:45

I'll bet they're in cahoots with Iceland too.

Legionofboom · 18/09/2014 16:43

Completely off topic but....

Apols Cogito I spelt your NN wrong

I have seen Cogito post on hundred of threads and I always read it as Cognito.
Every day's a school day.

Anyway back to the shitting dragon...

Ididntseeitsoitdidnthappen · 18/09/2014 16:42

It'll be the Irish or the French that they're having away with I'm sure of it

Tablefor4 · 18/09/2014 16:42

oohhh... Norway def def the OW.

The question is whether they will leave the Scandi-block for Scotland, or were they only ever leading them on. Or will Scotland join Norway as the other inhabitants of the EFTA (or is Switzerland there too?)

Legionofboom · 18/09/2014 16:39

A gallimaufry stampede can quickly escalate into a "lemmings over the cliff" situation.

Shock Fly haggis fly.

If you're goign to have yorkshire roses then we need some lancastrian ones too, you know.

FrankelandFilly · 18/09/2014 16:37

My suggestions:

Scones
Pasties
A Victoria sponge

TSSDNCOP · 18/09/2014 16:35

Now that's a philosophical question Legion I shall need to ponder further.

TunipTheUnconquerable · 18/09/2014 16:35

It could shit Yorkshire roses.

FrankelandFilly · 18/09/2014 16:33

Legion they are terribly social wee beasties, but easily startled. A gallimaufry stampede can quickly escalate into a "lemmings over the cliff" situation.

Legionofboom · 18/09/2014 16:33

What do you think the dragon should be shitting TSSDNCOP?

ajandjjmum · 18/09/2014 16:33

There'll be no chance of Judy winning Strictly now.

TSSDNCOP · 18/09/2014 16:32

Apols Cogito I spelt your NN wrong ^^

CogitoErgoSometimes · 18/09/2014 16:30

Collective noun for haggis must be a 'swithering'. (I have heard that word far too often this week.)

gingee · 18/09/2014 16:30

No more nina and the neurons, please god!
