I was eating in the the dark and didn't notice until it was too late.

What on earth is inside my pear?

I know what it is. It is a mutant pear seed that was exposed to radioactive rays.
Think along the lines of James and the giant Pear.

I am horrified too by the way, and will never again eat food that grows on trees willy nilly Sad

I had the Caterpillar flesh in the top of a Copella drink once. Didn't drink another for years! Grin. Ex Dh found a snail in the mixed veg. We aren't sure whether it was dead on packaging or we microwaved the poor sod alive Confused.

But my great aunt was once eating an orange at the cinema and when the lights came up… 'twas full of maggots.

She's been a vegetarian ever since. Grin

I zoomed in on that and did a double take. It looked like a lizards head at a glance. Not quite sure what a Lizards head would be doing inside a pear though OP so think you are safe. I wouldnt eat a Pear for at least a decade after that neither. .

To elaborate on Lou's post, if Hairy's pic is the mouse pear baby, Thumb's pic is the evil leader of the mice pear babies.

I want to lose a bit of weight. I might print the manky pear pictures off and stick them on the fridge. No way would I want to eat anything if I had to look at that first.

Reading this thread with growing horror, and the voiceover lady on Nicktoons has just announced that "All the best things come in pairs". I think not lady Grin

My fellow commuters are regarding my growing looks of horror with utmost curiosity. Perhaps I should ask them what they think? (Although I'm not sure how many botanists there are on the no. 6 bus).
