I would like to know if all identical twins' voices sound identical.

I've got a twin sister and I can still fool her dh and dc when ringing while she's at work. We sound identical. Weird. Anyone else?

marjproops · 02/06/2013 19:58

yes Mary had more children with Joseph. In the scriptures.

What do I really look like? Is it the way I see myself or as I look in a photo (which is totally different to the way I imagine I look)?

Or is it toally subjective depending on whose looking at me?

Ilikethebreeze · 02/06/2013 19:52

suck is right.

suckmabigtoe · 02/06/2013 19:51

if that is, you even believe she was a virgin whilst pregnant with jesus. Wink

Ilikethebreeze · 02/06/2013 19:51

ImToo Hecsy.
Agree that if they repent, then yes they can sort of "get out of it".
But they will have had an awful time probably.
But yes, agree the person they did it too may well have had a terrible time. Even worse sometimes.

Repentence is available to anyone and everyone, no matter who they are or what they have done.

suckmabigtoe · 02/06/2013 19:50

Kim i think mary had 7/8 other children by joseph so i dont think so.

suckmabigtoe · 02/06/2013 19:47

or hecsy for those who dont bow to any sort of higher power- tell a bastard they're a bastard and get them the hell out of your life

i have a friend very much like yours and it's so hard to see them going through it and just wishing they'd stand up for themselves.

Ilikethebreeze · 02/06/2013 19:47

Bank holidays that aren't on the same day every year...who decides?? Who does Williams and Kate's washing? What do people do for a living to be able to live in those properties in this country that are worth millions(not famous people)? How does the tinternet work?? Why does my eye "bump" sometimes?

suckmabigtoe · 02/06/2013 19:44

i'd love to put in a new one aswell coffee but i'm in rented and the LL seems to have fallen off the face of the earth Hmm i would do it myself cheaply if he permitted but i cant get hold of him to ask him!

ImTooHecsyForYourParty · 02/06/2013 19:43

So, basically, take it up the shitter in this life, allow people to royally crap all over you, have a miserable life yourself while those who treat you like shit on their shoe are laughing it up because if there's a god, when they die, they probably won't have a good time of it then?

Forgive me if I'm not liking the sound of that all too much.

suckmabigtoe · 02/06/2013 19:42

my friend discovered she had a curverture (sp?) of her spine when she had xrays done because she was having back pain during sex. it was really quite noticeable on the xray but we had never noticed it before that.

Ilikethebreeze · 02/06/2013 19:40

ImTooHecsy. hate the sin, love the sinner.
So hate the behaviour as much as you like. but Christians are taught to love the sinner.
God will decide at the end, and if he decides they have been abominable, they are in big trouble.

Also, "Do not judge, and you will not be judged;do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven;give, and it will be given to you. Agood measure, presed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap;for the measure you give will be the measure you get back".

Coffeeformeplease · 02/06/2013 19:40

suck, I had a look in our downstairs loo cistern, took 2 bricks out and repaired a problem that sounds similar to yours. Loo is about 40 yo (and pink haha) and waiting for funds to rip it out. Cleaned inside cistern? Nope.

suckmabigtoe · 02/06/2013 19:40

I'd still like to know about the flies and fleas if anyone knows?

Saidar · 02/06/2013 19:39

"Why are there so many bent old people in England ? I know people can stoop a bit when they get older but i find in england there are a lot of very bent old people Is there some degenerative back problem ?"

Screening for back problems like kyphosis and scoliosis are crap in England. In America children are checked in school and there is effective treatment. In England is has to be quite bad before it's picked up, in my own personal experience if you don't pick it up in childhood/teens your choices are major spinal surgery or a curved spine as an adult. I chose the curved spine.

Many many entertaining cross posts on this thread. I did have a daft question the other day but has vanished from my brain. I may or may not be back...

Coffeeformeplease · 02/06/2013 19:37

Ilike, gender in French is probably like German (there, it's out), the natural gender is obvious (brother, uncle - male, aunt, mum. sister - female), and a few rules like mountains are always male, etc. The huge rest depends on the ending. Certain endings in nouns - always male ...female...neuter.

That explains why the moon is female in French and male in German, the sun is male in French and female in German. Confused? Grin
