I live in France. Went shopping earlier and as usual left my shopping list in the trolley (as inspired by you lot) and then got the giggles in the car on the way home wondering if there's an equivalent of Mumsnet getting excited about finding shopping lists?

"Formidable, j'ai found une shopping liste dans mon trolley. Mais c'est tres poncey, c'est en anglais! Je ne find pas 'naice ham' dans mon dictionaire - anybody know qu'est-ce c'est?"
"Non, mais c'est probably horrible, parce que tout le everybody knows que les anglais ne don't know how to cook"
35 pages of "ha ha ha ha tres witty!"

Damn you Have Gone Me, I'm in the bloody cold and windy race. At the end of the world. There the real shopping lists here - cheese and wine are often left on all thesis by the English who make booze cruises. MM is very scary. Much dust baybee and weirdly smileyd jiggly.

Aah, the cheese and wine. The frootshoots are cheaper in England. And there is no Pombears here I must go to bed, but I'll be back tomorrow

Not bear pom, not laminated Greggs. At least, there are many in France.

I also think the urban myth of sexy French man is not true. Where we buy our house colors vacancy ugly city.

Gigondas I think you are right. The only date I HAD a french man was one disaster. He wore nylon pants and blood me a song. I HAD to find an excuse to leave before I burst into laughter.
