Sorry am on phone so apologies if this makes no sense but he was doing t-Rex in Asda so i slapped his arm (not hard obviously) and he got really cross and said he'd stand however he wants and stormed off. It was really embarrassing as loads of people were staring and he'd told me to remind him anyway! He's acting like nothing has happened now. Aibu to not just let it drop?

But are you cuddling your shopping, Cynner?

Cynner · 25/06/2012 20:33

Damn it..I now spend countless minutes Rexing..surprisingly it DOES pull you in...

EmpressOfTheSevenOceans · 25/06/2012 09:36

There's a thread somewhere about putting toy dinosaurs on the naughty step. Have you considered that, OP?

TantrumsAndBalloons · 25/06/2012 08:45

Op, any other animal impersonations this weekend?

xDivAx · 25/06/2012 08:11

What did I miss?

LucieMay · 25/06/2012 00:10

GreenEggsAndNichts · 25/06/2012 00:00

AlerieVelaryon · 24/06/2012 23:04

AlerieVelaryon · 24/06/2012 22:40

cureall · 24/06/2012 22:30

Does DH have any more animal impersonations in his repertiore? For different situations eg cinema, pub etc.

Sparklingbrook · 24/06/2012 22:12

Well I worked with her in 1994 so things could have changed. Grin

MoonlightandRoses · 24/06/2012 22:02

Umm, it might if you go to 'Urban Dictionary'...but frankly, practically every word or phrase currently in usage has an obscene meaning according to Urban Dictionary. Grin

Sparklingbrook · 24/06/2012 21:59

It came from my dear friend when I worked in the Black Country. Don't know whether it's a regional thing or just her, but I agree it's a great word. I am always telling the DC to 'stop modging with it!'.

MoonlightandRoses · 24/06/2012 21:57

No, not LeM, Sparkling - apologies.

MoonlightandRoses · 24/06/2012 21:57

That is a brilliant word LeM. Will be adopting it forthwith!

Sparklingbrook · 24/06/2012 21:52

Modging is 'unwanted manhandling' of stuff. Well it is in my world. Hence 'modging the bread' before you buy. DC are excellent modgers. Grin

swangirl · 24/06/2012 21:25

SillyBeardyBatman · 24/06/2012 20:25

You obviously don't go to the right shop

EmpressOfTheSevenOceans · 24/06/2012 20:16

I went to Asda yesterday. Not T-rexes, owls, mole, Spidermen or veg huggers in sight Sad
Does your DH modge fresh loaves too?

Am I the only one who had a crush on Tim Brooke-Taylor?

Thought so.

bigmouthstrikesagain · 24/06/2012 14:17

ooooh ooooh ... I have a wierd Bloddie story as years ago I worked for Camden Council Parking permits dept. anyway Bill came to purchase his annual Hampstead permit and while I was writing it out I got a massive paper cut and bled on his permit which I proceeded to put in the holder and give to him anyway ConfusedBlush I was a bit flustered and he was a bit grumpy. Ick.

Sparklingbrook · 24/06/2012 14:10

Not embarrassing at all SPs-totally normal. Grin
