Is it snowing in Norfolk then?

millimat · 04/04/2012 09:21

Any snow may have forced them to seek refuge elsewhere...

LadyBabsWalthamCuddles · 04/04/2012 09:08

Oh no, I'm worried now.

Are they home yet?

Jackin · 04/04/2012 06:10

I'm 36 for a start, the car I'm insuring is landy that I use for work but I only do about 5000 miles a year in. And it's 3 yrs older than your DH :) Still I've just bought a lovely volvo s40 from 2003. And that is costing me £450 a year.
If you want big cars you're gonna have to pay for them :(

bagelmonkey · 04/04/2012 05:53

Have they come home?

03angels · 03/04/2012 23:29

Hi peeps found this thread a little earlier and have just finished reading!! state I love the way you write- I feel as though Iv been right there with you hehe!! I'm looking forward to the next installments- though cant see pics on my phone and dd1 has laptop.

StateofConfusion · 03/04/2012 23:18

marks place Cant quite believe they are still there! Fantastic thread :)

StateofConfusion · 03/04/2012 19:31

jackin you insurance is £250 a year??? Envy we used gocompare/confused/compare the market, rang several who aren't on price comparison but its pretty fruitless, dp has No NCD and he's 25, been driving about 2yrs. And we have a big car. We have insurance though so I've been lovingly stroking the car and begged him to take us out!! If yours is that a year your never believe what ours is a month!

maria we'll get one made up for you Wink

nobut they are still there!!!

The car wasn't there when we got in but its been a few days so they're probably out for supplies.

I haven't been back to this thread in a while.....tell me they are not still there??

Jackin · 03/04/2012 17:51

Well done Maria I dare say one is on its way!

MariaCallous · 03/04/2012 14:56

I feel a huge sense of achievement! Found this last night and reached the end! Not looked at the pics yet. Then again I've ignored two children and a day at work. Do I get a "I conquered the mammoth jizzcar thread" badge?

BareBums · 03/04/2012 13:39

Agree with shopping around. DH was quoted 3k for his insurance but after digging about he got a deal for £800.

Jackin · 03/04/2012 10:57

Shop around, admiral wanted 500 but got it for 250 with carol nash.

StateofConfusion · 03/04/2012 10:36

ovaltine if thats the case they can do what ever they want in mine, seriously i'll even leave the kids dvd players in,

ivanta I really wish i had the guts to do that, and whilst my Mum and brother and sister were here so it was full to the brim! Grin

OP posts:
IvantaOuiOui · 03/04/2012 09:06

I think you should all get into your car, and park next to them and introduce yourself as the new neighbours.

ovaltine · 03/04/2012 08:54

ah maybe they not living there, they have been employed as security for the car so they can afford the insurance. That mum is a genius. "where do you keep yr car overnight? On drive but with 2 full time security guards in it..."

TrinityRhino · 03/04/2012 08:53

Three weeks!!! Bloody hell Grin

bagelmonkey · 03/04/2012 08:30

Maybe they're living in the car because home insurance is cheaper than car insurance?

StateofConfusion · 02/04/2012 23:38

rabid we can no longer post, however im not sure if the limits the same in classics, i'll find out, if it is i will start a new thread and link it here when we reach 950ish.

they're still in there this evening, not alot happening, what i want to know is how the fuck they can afford insurance, ive just got a quote for ours and it is disgraceful, that disgraceful we are considering leaving the car at my mums house which would be a complete pita but half the price!

OP posts:
GravyAndALumpyMashBaby · 02/04/2012 21:48

3 weeks. Wow. Just wow.

RabidEchidna · 02/04/2012 20:34

What happens at 1000 posts?

StateofConfusion · 02/04/2012 19:16

jackin the only deckchairs i have are very small barbie and buzz lightyear ones, whilst it would be amusing to watch OB and G attempt to sit in them the dcs would be pissed.

anytime ovalitine Grin

they've slept alot today!

OP posts:
ovaltine · 02/04/2012 16:11

state, you deserve a medal for answering my sleep deprived ramblings. Thank you x x

Jackin · 02/04/2012 16:07

Amazing! they'll need deck chairs. state if you have some old ones give them to them, so they'll sit outside and make for easier viewing.
