Great big effing boil on my neck! Help!

I've NEVER had a boil, ever, and now, 4 days after I go from long hair to a short bob, I've got something that looks like another nipple. It HURTS! I've put metanium on it and it's coming up to a point but there's no head on it. I don't feel too well either but that might be unrelated.

What should I do?! Help!

Where is she? Shouldn't she be out of horspital slipping into a Givenchy gimp mask by now?

TmacBird · 19/08/2011 12:04

How did you end up at the hospital? I think you're meant to be at the GPs and then toddler group?

Moanna · 19/08/2011 12:03
Grin
JodieHarsh · 19/08/2011 10:37

Oh good luck, old thing. Hurrah for opiates!

Is there any chance the nurse can post a pic?

Moanna · 19/08/2011 10:29

Hope it's not as painful as yesterday.

Marlinspike · 19/08/2011 10:24

As an asid is that givenchy mask being modelled by X factor wannabee Rhydian?

Respect to you and your evil Lord Voldemort second head Holly!

GeekLove · 19/08/2011 10:23

How long in hospital? I hope it's just to get the dressing changed.'if you are still on for the wedding though you could give it a face, attach a small suit to it and introduce it as your friend Pustulio.

Hope you feel better soon.

MigratingCoconuts · 19/08/2011 10:16

oh, good luck!!! Smile

OhYouBadBadKitten · 19/08/2011 09:26

don't be scared {hugs} better to be floaty and a bit detached and it will make things easier.

AitchTwoOh · 19/08/2011 09:06

at least you are in the hospital now, i for one am very glad of that...

BagofHolly · 19/08/2011 08:51

Am at hospital, getting dressing changed and might have overdone the pain relief. I'm quite giggly, considering, and my feet feel very far away. Scared.

Am imagining boil singing loudly and enthusiastically at the wedding. There's something monty python-esque about the picture in my mind.

Clarence15 · 19/08/2011 07:45

Ah ha! The boil thread takes an interesting new fashion turn. Now that Givenchy fashion leather mask looks useful but isn't that Rhydian from Xfactor modelling it?

Do you think he knew of it's uses for Vesuvius-covering wedding attire when he signed up for that shoot?

GlaikitFizzog · 18/08/2011 23:21

ROFL!

HouseOfBamboo · 18/08/2011 23:20

Holly - very fabulous indeed, maybe with fuschia lips? But then again, it's a white outfit, and you don't want him to be upstaging the bride now.

Re Foxy - I know, it's not your traditional summer wedding outfit, but August is the new November so I think you might just get away with it.

BagofHolly · 18/08/2011 23:09

Houseofbamboo, if only it wasn't August!

Given the situation I've had to have a rethink, so I'm drawn to this look from Givenchy. I think accessorised properly, with a strong lip colour, I could get away with it.

House of Bamboo, having read this thread avidly over the past days and chuckled away I have genuinely wet myself a bit amd ;aughed like a nutter at that first picture.....jesus how do I explain to my dh why i'm so busy these days keeping up with the boilblog

GlaikitFizzog · 18/08/2011 22:50

HouseofBamboo those are A-MAZ-ING!

I was thinking of something more like this, seeing as we are mourning the passing of beloved CystFabregas.

banana87 · 18/08/2011 22:46

Bloody hell. Curiousity got the better of me and I just read this ENTIRE thread including pictures. Holly, you are amazing to have gotten through that without pulling your hair out or throwing yourself in out of a window. Ouch!

HouseOfBamboo · 18/08/2011 22:44

Holly - I think the wedding outfit situation can be saved, how about something like this to keep Cyd under wraps:

Foxy

honeyandsalt · 18/08/2011 22:35

Haha! As for the A5 dressing - pashmina? Jacket? Get the twins to draw a cheery design on it (before it goes on, obv)? You'll certainly entertain those sitting behind you while they await the start of the ceremony that way.

mummylin2495 · 18/08/2011 22:35

Oh i dont think i could stomach it ,but i would be suitably sympathetic to you with your alien body growth Grin

WipsGlitter · 18/08/2011 22:28
