Did anyone find out who Sharon was?

itsmylife7 · 02/09/2024 13:22

The T-Rex in ASDA sent me here. I live for these surreal flights of imagination.

Sex-in-the-hedge, the goggly-eyed toy crows, and artisanal fat balls classics make me smile everytime I think of them. The Dead Wasp: Midsomer Murders was never this good. 😀

It came up for me as “threads I’m on” because I commented on it…over 11 years ago now! How can that be?!

I’d forgotten all about it, but it made me laugh to read some of it again. And to see so many names I haven’t in years. ❤️

@Georgimama

The OP's style is kind of reminding me of the Maggie Bloom stream of consciousness bit at the end of Ulysses. Very impressive. Took James Joyce years to perfect that style.
This is EXACTLY what I thought of too

Slightly less sensual though

@WallpaperLady

Can you imagine having a friend who made no sense? I imagine it would be like reading this thread, only in real life!

I feel like I've just been on some sort of drug. Who TF is Sharon!

More like who TF resurrects 10 year old threads?

It's there in classics for everyone to read and enjoy if they want to.

It doesn't need to be brought to everyone's attention.

RickiTarr · 09/05/2021 07:01

Three more days and this thread is ten years old. I feel ancient.

DontTouchMyCurls · 30/04/2019 17:20

Oh God... I remember this when it happened. Several barmy threads wrote in a similar style. The days Mumsnet had me laughing until I cried. These days most people just sit waiting to put the boot in

ScotsGuyNorthSea · 30/04/2019 17:09

OMG - not that tart Sharon!

He's right though - she's smoking hot...

Tana433 · 30/04/2019 16:42

Omg, im a new member here but have just spent the last hour reading this zombie thread! Hilarious, really needed this laugh today. We need more threads like these in our miserable world imo.

MrsTommyBanks · 30/04/2019 16:31

This thread never gets old Grin

FreddysTash · 30/04/2019 16:19

Aww I loved old mumsnet. People are too sour faced these days for stuff like this. Shame.

BusterGonad · 30/04/2019 15:27

Loved this, really cheered me up!

bert3400 · 17/07/2018 23:58

Claire90ftm you don't have to read it ...god you sound like a right moaning old fuckwomble .

PanPanPanPing · 17/07/2018 15:59

Claire90ftm. You do realise this thread was started 7 years ago, back in the days when we were actually allowed to have fun on MN without being told off for a slightly off-the-wall thread which does nobody any harm?!
