I'm so pleased that at 19 days old the kittens have both trebled their birth weights!

Meow has gone from 120g to 380g and Ginger has gone from 150g to 450g

Promise more pics later when they wake up :)

I love your super big pic of Ginger - he looks so lovely and clean and new!
I always have a quick look on your profile each day to see if you've posted any new pics.

Ginger's markings look just like a cat we had when I was a girl - Oscar was his name.

BornThisWayBaby · 04/05/2011 22:00

Shes doing well thankyou - I think they'll be here in a week max! I can feel bulges now! Grin

Pinot · 04/05/2011 21:41

Hee hee Grin thanks all! I just wish you could all cuddle him in RL as well as cyber-cuddles!

My aim tomorrow is to get a super-close-up of Meow (and to make it big on my profile). She really is a little love. So far, personality wise, Ginger is a cute little pickle in that he's awake more often and plays with my hair/fingers/mouth whereas Meow is more chilled and settled and is more content having a tummy rub and occasionally stretching her legs at me.

Ginger has spent all evening asleep on my chest, all tucked into my PJ top whilst DH watched the boring football. Love love love!

Is it really obvious and I'm a doofus? Confused

BornThisWayBaby · 04/05/2011 17:48

they are beautiful!

OTheHugeManatee · 04/05/2011 17:46

So does this mean you're doing KLW then, Pinot? Grin

OTheHugeManatee · 04/05/2011 17:45

OMG just saw the new pic of Ginger.

!!!!!

Pinot · 04/05/2011 17:42

CaveMum I wondered where you'd been! Glad to see you again (and your purdy cat in your profile :) )

Funsized that is bad news. Bad news. Can you deny DP sex until he gives in and you get your kittie? Grin

The rest of you lovely lot I'm so chuffed you like the piccies! I've been and bought kitten food and litter - though Ginger wasn't intererested in eating the food, he gave it a good sniff. The dogs, however, were circling me!!

Going to try again in a couple of days. Even the Whiskas Kitten box is cute

When our hand reaered kitty was ready for food he refused point blank to eat it....a few days later he was seen tucking into a plate of left-over fish from teh chippy which had been left unattended for 5 minutes

ExitPursuedByALamb · 04/05/2011 14:22

Both looking fabulous.

NotShortImFunSized · 04/05/2011 14:18

Oh my goodness could you fit any more cute into a photo!!! Grin

Dp said no to a kitten. Sulking didn't work either. I shall just have to keep getting my kitty fix from you Pinot Grin

Well done they are looking so healthy (and big!)

CaveMum · 04/05/2011 13:53

[crashes in wheezing for breath] I lost you!!!
So glad to hear kittys are doing well. Off to check out the new photos Grin

[kitten] Hmm, still not working then?

SummerRain · 04/05/2011 13:33

Pinot... they say to mix with milk but as ours weren't on formula i never did.... just put a spoonful of the kitten food out and let them at it. The chunks in the kitten food are really tiny and it's 80odd% moisture anyway if you read the packet Grin [value for money]

Th3e wood based kitty litter is fabulous stuff... nice and clean and easy to manage. The clay gets everywhere... they will be little piss and clay footprints all over your house and it stinks. Definitely get wood if you can... in fact, don't splash out for wood kitty litter... go to a solid fuel centre if you have one near you and ask for wood pellets for stoves or boilers. They're exactly the same thing but a quarter of the price... I pay E2.50 for a 10kg bag which last 2/3 weeks with 4 adult cats.

Ginger is lookng fabulous.... soooooo fluffy [squee][kitten]

Pinot · 04/05/2011 13:05

2 new pics are up

One big close up of Ginger and the other - for some reason positioned 4th Confused - of his new hairy patch

They try FAB - they just wibble and wobble about like they're on a boat. Thansk Sharbie - hope these two are as loving as your boy
