I am 39w pg and dh and I have to travel to his home town to fill in some paperwork. the idiot has neglected to book us a hotel or even a B&B, we dont even know whether there is even a hospital nearby, at this rate I'll be giving rate in a bleddy barn!

part of me thinks he has done this on purpose (baby isnt his) AIBU to be flaming furious with him?

You've got to feel a bit sorry for your DP though.
mary and joseph in bed

I hope the link works, the poster is from last year but I still love it.

Balthasar, does your sat nav has the "Follow yonder star" programme? I hope so.

But you know YABVU to visit straight after birth, you should wait at least until 6th Jan.

Balthasar · 18/12/2010 22:44

Come on woman, we've been travelling for six months!

Balthasar · 18/12/2010 22:40

Mary, have you any idea where you'll be staying yet? It's just we've got these presents to drop round for the wain. It's no trouble if me and the lads turn up right after the birth is it?

scottishmummy · 18/12/2010 22:23

i hear the Bethlehem malmaison gets pretty stowed this time of year

tribpot · 18/12/2010 22:17

If anyone offers you any gold, frankincense or myrrh say you only want it if it's ethically mined and/or organic.

MumNWLondon · 18/12/2010 22:08

Well I guess you can get the baby's paternity tested once he is born..... maybe he is your Dh's after all!

re: virgin birth, I do know (lesbian) who gave birth and hadn't had penetrative sex.

Probably will hurt more if no pain relief in the barn!

stickylittlefingers · 18/12/2010 22:05

don't worry, stilla, it'll be the bleak midwinter before you know it.

stillavirgin · 18/12/2010 21:50

Im sorry mum, I had a moment! Joseph and I are rock solid, I promise. I promise that this baby and I will make you proud.

am getting a bit fed up now, donkey ride is playing havoc with my rear end and this desert's dusty!

I'm not happy with you, my Girl. It's one thing convicing your Father that Joseph's the Father of your baby. Know your going on MN and Facebook saying it some else!!!! He's only just calmed down! We had a big row about it, he said it was all my fault letting you go out to collect water and talk to boys! He said it had something to do with my side of the family. Well! now he's fumming you'd better make it work between you and Joseph, my girl. I've been a saint to you and your brothers and this is how you pay me back. Your not doing this to get a council house are you love? Xmas Smile

stillavirgin · 17/12/2010 20:19

twirly, I like it, but dh thinks its a bit sneaky, apparently theres a little lad called judas and he is a little tattle-tale.

digggers, im not i promise, cross my heart. unfortunately I have no way of proving it!

OP posts:
twirlymum · 17/12/2010 18:39

I think the name Jesus is, well, ok. What about something else starting with a J? Joshua? Jedidiah? Oh, oh, I've got it!

Judas!

Your call though.

Digggers · 17/12/2010 18:23

Call me a atheist troll hunter, but I don't believe your ex exists. It all sounds very far fetched. I think you're making up to give us mortals something to believe in for a laugh

stillavirgin · 17/12/2010 14:58

snurk.

OP posts:
ohmeohmy · 17/12/2010 14:33

i think you should call him Noel, noelle if it's a girl

tomhardyismydh · 17/12/2010 14:15

hope your journey was not too bumpy. let me know where finally end up staying ill send my men round with a few bits for the baby.

blackeyedsusan · 17/12/2010 13:57

Told dh about you Op, he said he had no sympathy for you as it wasn't your dh's.

ginnybag · 17/12/2010 13:17

lol @ thesecondcoming...

ClenchedBottom · 17/12/2010 13:03

Don't let the sheep get too close to your snuggly newborn, could be a flea issue (the sheep, not the baby...)

Bue · 17/12/2010 13:01

Very good, OP. For a moment I did think your situation was an amazing Christmas coincidence.

Apart from his total lack of organisation, that Joseph was a good egg. He must really have loved Mary to go with the flow on this one!

GlitteryBalls · 17/12/2010 12:55

I am thick, I really didn't spot this! Blush

NigellaPleaseComeDineWithMe · 17/12/2010 12:41

Like Jasper - what about that?

How did you break it to Jospeph that there was no OM involved? Did he want to go on the OLde Jeremiah Kyle show to get a DNA test done?

DreamTeamGirl · 17/12/2010 10:23

OP J names sound great- have you considered hyphenating a name? It makes names SO much classier

How about Jacee-judey? You could call him JJ for short

QuietTiger · 17/12/2010 09:53

Just make sure you take some ear plugs for the lowing cattle!
