babybarrister Are you really training your baby to be a barrister? That would go down very very poorly with the OP. I hope you are strongly encouraging him towards legal aid for asylum seekers. Anything else would be tantamount to guillotining the poor for sport.

If all of those who don't conform to the OP's description were to leave MN, I think it would be almost too quiet.Grin

Therefore, I would like to propose a points system according to how many boxes you can tick which will give you a time allowance.

I will admit to bitchy and mouth screwed up (although I thought that was due to smoking). Thus I have 2 points.

I will mainly be posting on a Thursday mid-morning.

REPORTING BACK ON THE CHAI LATTE MISSION.

Unfortunately I left before somebody posted that Costa don't do them. Swaggered in, I did, and confidently asked for said beverage.

One blank look. Raised eyebrows at other 'barista'.

Two blank looks. Call for the manager.

Three blank looks. Then 'Oh, yes, it's the cinnamony spicy one' - it sounded DISGUSTING. 'Yeah, no they're not very nice, I wouldn't bother personally.'

Did I mention that they don't do them?

Bought a gingerbread latte (even though it's October not bloody December, WHY are Christmas items in shops now?) and thankfully dunked sausage roll in it.

Mission completed.
