What subject did you do at Uni and would you do the same subject again.

Psychology
Loved it.

Would I take the same course again - yes if I was 24 again I would (went as mature student). But if I was to do a degree now would love to do engineering - although I wouldn't get in anywhere - haven't got the Maths !

Accounting and Finance. Chose because I wasn't good enough/interested enough in my A levels to continue any of them and wanted to be an accountant so it gave me exam exemptions.
If I had to choose again (early 1980s) I would do it again. If I was choosing now I might have gone for apprenticeship although doing a degree let me move away so who knows.....

Astronomy. Loved it, studied hard because I was fascinated by the subject and got a 1st so would do it again.

I did a nursing degree 25 years ago when it was just starting to become more academic. I wouldn't do it again..to much stress and grey hairs.

Id consider more of a fiance based degree, but id heavliy research the course beforehand

Dance - best days of my life, loved it all. Can't imagine studying anything else. Studied for passion. Sadly not so much an option now as arts education has been decimated.

French -yes has been an abiding passion and after a career in business I was able to use it get a job teaching it for a few years.

Continued ... My Masters in Mental Health Sciences. Really enjoyed both and would study again. Wouldn't change my profession either !

Maths. I really struggled in my 2nd year but 3rd year was a lot better as there were no mandatory modules so I could choose what I was better at. I think it's very useful if you don't know what you want to do after university because it gives you a lot of options. Also, at my uni there were a higher proportion of 1sts in maths than any other subject - I guess because you either get it or you don't (not great if you're one of those that doesn't get it though).

Studied natural sciences with biology and went on to be a banker. Retired and have now just completed

Electrical & Electronic Engineering, loved it and would do it all over again.
Still have a job now that utilises the knowledge gained all those years ago (35)
Was the only female on the course, had a whale of a time 😆

English Literature.

If I had my time again I'd train as a boiler fitter.

I did Sociology and History and really enjoyed it. If I had my time over again I would do Psychology.

I did Business Management and ABSOLUTELY NOT.

My best subject all through school was ICT. I got the highest overall mark in my year at GCSE, blitzed the coursework, found the exams a doddle, etc.

Then I did an ICT A-level and a business A-level, and for some bizarre reason decided to do Business at uni. I did enjoy Business slightly more than ICT at sixth form, but utterly detested it at uni right from the start. I should've switched course but at the time I thought that meant I was a failure so plodded on regardless.

I have never used it.

Eng and Italian. Brilliant fun.. had amazing career in Europe.
Would i choose it again, yes, but would've done postgrad

I've heard this story so many times, the 'hit a wall' thing. Even amongst brainiacs.
A lot of Maths is building on previous work, which means you go down a narrower and narrower rabbit hole. And if you do hit that wall then you are in real trouble.

I wish I'd done engineering instead. Coming from a girls' school that was hot on academics but useless on carers advice, I didn't even know that such a thing existed.

English. Massively enjoyed it and looking back still can't quite believe a day's work involved sitting in the sun reading poetry.

Teaching.
Absolutely not. Never again. Ever.

Biology - specialising in microbiology/genetics.
Don't work in that field anymore but I did find it fascinating and still do to a certain extent, though not enough to want to do a PhD.

I did French, German and Spanish and if I could go back, I'd do psychology and criminology I think. Really wish I could!

English and American Literature.

So wish I'd done European Studies with German language.

English Literature. I loved it and I can't think of anything I'd rather take if I had to do it again. God, I wish I could do it again.

English and classics.

I enjoyed doing it but wasn't very good at it. Not sure which is the way to go on that issue. So I liked the 3 years but didn't get a very good degree class and was also from a not well regarded university. 😬

Dentistry. It was a very intense course. At the time when I trained, it was a 4 year 1 term degree; so a lot to pack in.
Biol, Chem and Maths A levels.

I did actually enjoy Maths, so maybe I should have done a degree in that.

Art History. Didn't lead anywhere apart from being able to access a Master in a different subject. But I loved it nonetheless. Would not change it for the world. Art history is my passion, though.
