Good Uni for Sports Studies?

Any mumsnetters first hand experiences? If it was somewhere with lovely countryside near by that would be a bonus (dd suffers from anxiety and loves being outside). Anywhere in the country!

Cardiff met has very good reputation and facilities. It’s on the outskirts of cardiff so not in the city centre. I’m not sure about accommodation though

Thank you. You need AAA for Sports at Loughborough which we don't think she'll get.

Have a look at Trinity Carmarthen. The campus is lovely! My DS is hoping to do a related course there next year.

I have no personal experience but Loughborough university was always considered the place to study sport. I just did a Google and it was rated best sports uni in the world by the QS rankings. It has a big green campus but not sure if it surrounded by countryside or not.

loughborough is most definitely on her list although I think probably very hard to get into. She's predicted A B B/C

Loughborough I should have thought, and not too far from the peak district for the outdoorsy element!
