Dance school needed for six year old dd in Dorset we are in Blandford

Now that dp is working from home dd can start her dance classes again. She wants to do something like disco, jazz or something modern.

She has been doing ballet and tap for a few years already.

Don't know, it didn't used to but they do seem to have extended it, so maybe, as long as they have a bakers, I could never walk to the car park from town with out going in for bread when it was there before.

And we have a fish mongers and two butchers!

I find the tescos really confusing and dp loves morrsisons. Didn;t realise it was open next month.

Dp is working from home so she is no longer in any kind of after school child care. Her horsriding is with the school on a Wednesday evening. She loved to dance, I have posted a thread before about the factr she dances all day every day and it drives me nuts. Everyone who knows us thinks she will be an actress or dancer when she is older. If we need to drop things to do the dancing we will do, aprt from horse riding.

We only have one child so perhaps can afford to do more things.

We are also new to the area so trying to help her make friends.

TheConfused one I love our shops in Blandford but agree there is no danceshop. There is a sports hop though.

Blandford has no dance shop, it has chemist estate agents and 'boutique' shops, Oh and the odd book shop

Are you sure she will have time to dance too!
My oldest daughter used to do something everything night but when the little ones came along I though enough is enough its one thing only, plus I couldn't afford it.
Horse riding is great though.Brownies is good too, not usually that expensive once you have bought the uniform too.
My oldest used to do dancing, gymnastics, brownies, horse riding and football.Looking back I am now wondering where I ofund the time or the money!

I know where I want her to go just not got round to doing it yet [bad mummy emoticon] To my credit I have organised a saturday club, horse riding, brownies and guitar lessons.

Pop into your nearest dance shop and ask in there.I know our local dance shop keeps information on all the local dance schools so they kow what uniforms to stock.

It was pictures of friends, the house,her play group etc. She still looks at it occasionally, it appeared last weekend.

lol it may be me doing the stalking as I will have no friends when we move.

Is the road ok, we got the house by only looking at the picture. I really like the house internally and the view but the external of the house is not really my cup of tea and a few of the gardens let the road down.

Oh wow, what a view, it looks lovely ! Can definitely see why you are excited.

We did a little photo album for DD when we moved which went down well. She was younger though, not even 4 at the time and she is 9.5 now, it has flown by.

She is very excited, a bit sad to leave the only house she has known and the friends she has had from being a baby but she has a wetsuit and can't wait to use it.

culdesac! shocking typing - it is the excitement.

Am taking dd into the village for lunch and will then email you.

I am a two minute walk from the town centre, on a cludesca that then backs on to fields.

One thing I always do well is enthusiasm, all my reports for subjects I was crap at began with " well she is certainly enthusiatic.

Twinset, I love your enthusiasm !

It is great, we have friends who are coming here for a week whilst we go to France. I was coming up with free/cheap things for them to do as they are a bit skint atm and as I was doing it I was thinking how lucky we are to live here.

Brilliant for your DD having a riding stable behind your house. Is she is excited about the move ?

By the hospital????

My Parents lived on Milldown Rd.

Best park around is out at Pimperne, lovely swimming pool at the leisure centre, soft play up at Sturminster Newton, great walk around the milldown, and along the old railway line.
