NYMT / BYMT 2021

Starting a new thread for NYMT / BYMT hopefuls in 2021.

DD13 is auditioning for NYMT for the second time as stage performer and as musician. We just received an invite to the next round (online workshops).

She was gutted that Covid put a stop to her show (Imaginary) last year so we are keeping everything crossed that she gets another shot.

We've also booked a BYMT audition and she's already in the musician pool there so hopefully a show of some sort this year if we get some kind of normality back again...

Anyone else out there?

Not sure if at all helpful but dd doing BYMT (rolled over from last year) and only had 1 more, looks like a young teen girl, join the private FB group for that show, as has just been offered a place. They only seem to have a small cast atm (unless loads are not on FB). So I'm.thinking they are still selecting. Fingers crossed for you all and hope you hear soon🤞🏼🤞🏼

Well we’ve received an email regarding offer of show as musician for DS today, however it was recalled due to an error but does say correct details will be sent before close of play today

Our summer is now pretty busy so if we get musicians or nyt I’ve no idea what will happen?! Worry about that if and when 🤷‍♀️

My DD is in that age bracket too- haven't heard anything. I am having to just go ahead and book up other things in the meantime as other opportunities are coming up locally. I wish they would issue the definite Nos first as well.

I know. It's a pain. I had to ask because I had to book my annual leave.

If my DD gets offered something it'll all depend on whether I can get her there as to whether she can do it.

I asked and was told they should all have a response by end next week as they are coming out in batches. And yes my DD is 13.

Not sure if this has any bearing at all, but don't we all have DD's aged around 12-14?? (Except I know Janet25 and Yr10mom are waiting on musician).
