Confused about ABRSM Grade 1 book

The syllabus for 22/22 has about 21 pieces listed, but the book they sell for G1 only has a selection of 3 from each of the three groups. Why aren’t all the pieces in the book? Is it only possible to access the rest of the pieces by digital download (£1.99 each) or is there a book I can’t see online that has all the pieces? Thanks!

If you go here and scroll down, choose the right instrument and then grade, it gives you a list of the whole syllabus plus which books the pieces are in.
This is the piano grade 1 2021-2022
The books always only have the three first pieces from each list in them.

You can usually get the other pieces in seperate books.

Hi, yes thats the usual format. Normaly most students just pick from the book unless they have a particular fave on the other list. You can normaly listen to them all on you tube for free, or ask the teacher to play them.
