My dd has just spent the most wonderful day walking 8 London Bridges. The leaders give their time freely, for nothing and do a wonderful job. My dd loves Brownies and has had a great time today and I would like to thank all Brownie Leaders for their time-it really is appreciated.

I have two of my DCs at a scouting jamboree this week. I'm so grateful to these people who give up their free time (in my defence I add that I'm involved in an administrative role with the group). Of course, it's all down to David Cameron and his Big Society! Wink

I am a Guide leader but we were also walking the London Bridges yesterday. It was wonderful to see so many girls out in uniform having such a great time.
