we always seem to need the first few games to warm up and only get into out stride when its too late!

calcutta cup is our last match though

TigersEnglandChick · 14/02/2009 17:31

Not a disasterour performance from Scotland tho Dizzy... too many handling errors perhaps but the first-half possession/territory were pretty impressive!

Just hope I can be as positive about England in about 90 mins ...

dizzydixies · 14/02/2009 16:42

oh dear, my kitchen is getting a bit too full of wooden spoons

dizzydixies · 14/02/2009 15:09

Sooo, the line-up for the weekend ...

Today
3pm - France v Scotland (Stade de France) Rugby Times predicts France to win by 14.
5.30 - Wales v England (Millennium Stadium) RT predicts Wales by 24

Tomorrow
2.30 - Italy v Ireland (Stadio Flaminio) RT predicts Ireland by 20.

Here's to a good weekend of rugby

TigersEnglandChick · 08/02/2009 17:47

Not on yesterday's performance!

differentCupID · 08/02/2009 17:16

InTheScrum · 08/02/2009 16:54

Grand Slam here we come!!

differentCupID · 08/02/2009 16:48

Wales used to do that. Then they started playing properly and began to win their matches. Maybe Scotland will do the same?

InTheScrum · 08/02/2009 16:44

Shame that Scotland seemed to have left their best play for the last five minutes.

differentCupID · 08/02/2009 16:43

Wales have made their classic mistake- lost focus slightly in middle of second half.

InTheScrum · 08/02/2009 16:41

Sin bin with less than 20 mins to go? What a twunt!

differentCupID · 08/02/2009 16:36

well done Scotland.

Wales, play up you morons!

biscuitsmustbedunkedintea · 08/02/2009 16:35

Blindin' try!

InTheScrum · 08/02/2009 16:33

I probably could get video stream, but then I'd never get my work done!!

Back to school tomorrow after my maternity leave, so I've got to get some planning done.

COME ON WALES!!

differentCupID · 08/02/2009 16:33

oops- What an idiot. Appropriate use of the words "f**king Hell" by Williams.

biscuitsmustbedunkedintea · 08/02/2009 16:27

In the scrum can you not get the live video stream on BBC?

differentCupID · 08/02/2009 16:19

lol- Surely Rugby is the only time a grown man is allowed to shout at th etv?

InTheScrum · 08/02/2009 16:17

I've got the match on BBC5Sport, but it's just not the same - I can't picture the game and mumsnet work at the same time.
DH was watching it downstairs, but I've told him off for swearing shouting in front of DCs, so he's got a Mickey Mouse DVD on instead. I half expect him to sneak up here with me to listen!

differentCupID · 08/02/2009 16:07

Scotland are playing quite well, it's just that Wales are playing better today. That was a great tackle that stopped that try.
