Run/walk/swim 1000 km/miles in 2020 - the final stretch

As the first thread is on 998 I thought I’d better make a new one before adding today’s mileage!

5000 is amazing. I won’t hit 1000 this year but will try to do better next year.

Dull and cold here today but we got out for a local walk. 8.0 exactly as I walked through the door.

Had a very impromptu fast 10k at sunset my fastest this year - I’ll pay for it tomorrow with a sore foot but I loved it.

Did a long frosty walk with the dog this morning and then managed to get out for a very foggy 7k this afternoon.

We did get out - the weather brightened up so we had some lovely low sun. 8.6 km, 1678.4

Scraped the car this morning-1c to go for a fab sunny cold seaswim with a crazy bunch of ladies.

We escaped ice yesterday here - there was a sugar frosting of snow on some of the higher fells, just enough to make them prettier. Glorious clear sun, 10.8 km, 1669.8

Cold and cloudy today... DH hasn't emerged from bed yet so not sure if we'll get out today.

Pool Swim yesterday very warm 1km after swimming in the sea recently it felt too warm Grin Early dark 4K run this morning. Was supposed to be 6k but my foot is giving me issues again Sad it’s why I stopped running for 3mths before... hoping I can keep nursing it but I doubt I’ll do my planned HM in Feb now.

37.54 miles of walking done in the last 2 weeks, just really lacking the motivation to go out an about at the moment. I'm waiting for shops to reopen as I want to get some Christmas bits and bobs, and I usually walk into town so that will help my mule counts!
