Happy New Year! I’m starting a nice shiny new thread to keep track of my 2020 exercise goals. Please feel free to join me.

My goals are:

  1. To do some exercise on at least 250 days during 2020;
  2. To do at least 200 hours of exercise.

Cardio 3 done. Not sure I like this one. She does each exercise for 20 seconds so there are loads and for some of them by the time you have watched how to do them, you have finished. She also forgets some altogether or puts them in a different order the second and third goes round which is a bit confusing. Even the people doing it with her look a bit confused at times. Still, it got my heart rate up to 182 so I was out of puff!

SophieLion · 23/09/2020 07:38

5km interval run plus strength for abs, arms and butt (again! But I do vary the intervals
In my runs!)

Days exercised 209

OublietteBravo · 22/09/2020 20:06

I had a planned rest day yesterday (dinner with friends). KB&T L2 and 30DS L3 (65 min) this evening.

(182/68; 181h 55min)

Glad your pt is feeling better and your hip is ok MotherForkin - 8km is definitely not a rest day!

Your abs, back and butt must be on fire Sophie!

WO10 done. That is tough and I modified quite a bit.

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 22/09/2020 10:44

I had a planned rest day on Sunday and an unplanned one yesterday (although my watch tells me I walked 8km). My pt is well again so back to proper workout this morning. Hip is OK, thanks, it was just grumbling as it is wont to do.

Days exercised 195.

SophieLion · 22/09/2020 07:44

40 Mins strength for abs, back and butt and then a yoga session.

Days exercised 208

roonetta · 21/09/2020 13:20

Thanks @SophieLion - this is the last phase, so one more month left of the programme. I am enjoying it (except the cardio).

WO9 done. Not too bad but I didn’t give it my all as I was learning the moves. The dreaded squat with v-lift from 30DS has returned and I can still only do it with my lightest weights!

OublietteBravo · 21/09/2020 08:52

Morning! I had a couple of rest days over the weekend. Making the most of the weather and being allowed to meet people before there is a change to one or both. I did actually exercise yesterday though: KB&T L1 (40 min)

(181/69; 180h 50min)

Hope your hip is feeling better MotherForkin.

Good luck for phase 3 roonetta! How many phases did you say there were? It all sounds very hardcore.

I took the whole weekend off and today I've just done a 5km interval run plus strength for abs, arms and butt. I'm thinking I need to do some back - I really like that line that runs down the length of the back!

Days exercised 207

roonetta · 20/09/2020 14:00

Lots of great workouts going on 👏👏

Hope your hip is okay@MotherForkinShirtBalls

Rest day Friday, WO8 yesterday and cardio 2 done today ✅

Moving on to phase 3 tomorrow - gulp!

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 19/09/2020 12:29

Hill run this morning.

My pt has been sick this week so I've been very lazy and done no weights or core work and now my hip is complaining.

Days exercised 194.

SophieLion · 18/09/2020 09:14

Mandala yoga again plus strength for abs, butt and arms. Used my new lilly sabri resistance band and it was great!

Days exercised 206

OublietteBravo · 17/09/2020 19:32

Still Jillianing (as everyone in my household refers to it): 30DS L3 and KB&T L2 (65 min)

SophieLion · 17/09/2020 07:28

Rest day yesterday (although did do a dance class).

Today 5km run plus strength for abs, arms and butt

Days exercised 205

It may have been reluctant Oubliette but you still did it and that's what counts. Awesome!

BR cardio 2 done. I actually plucked up the courage to do Jillian's cardio today Grin

OublietteBravo · 15/09/2020 20:02

A very reluctant 30DS L3 and KB&T L2 (65 min)

(178/72; 178h 15min)

OP posts:
roonetta · 15/09/2020 15:04

BR WO8 done ✅

SophieLion · 15/09/2020 07:38

5kM interval run plus strength for abs, arms and butt

Days exercised 204

OublietteBravo · 14/09/2020 19:45

That does sound tough @roonetta. I especially hate crow push ups.

Cardio: BFBM (50 min)

(177/73; 177h 10min)

OP posts:
roonetta · 14/09/2020 13:47

BR WO7 done. No.7 is a tough one; crow press-ups, downward dog press-ups, one legged press-ups! My arms are now useless.

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 14/09/2020 10:47

Ouch, that looks sore, Oubliette. I tend to bruise like that when I give blood, which I'm ashamed to say sometimes puts me off.

Hill run this morning and I'll get a good bit of walking in later.

Days exercised 191.
