Les Mills Blaze - anyone done it?

I've just signed up for this class at my gym after a bit off time off from exercise, and I'm worried it my kick my arse. Has anyone tried it?

Revisiting this post as our club got Blaze last Saturday and I've already been 3 times this week!
Newbluegloo - hope you're fully recovered now. Did you get to try it out?

Yes, it does have potential to be cringey - I watched some videos on YouTube of the 'VIP launches' after I initially posted and was pmsl at the man dancing amongst the treadmills playing a saxophone.

Oh dear - wishing you a speedy recovery goo.

I was following this thread as our gym is launching it in two weeks and I think it looks rubbish. Was hoping someone here will still try it and say if the lights are as migraine inducing as they look.

Alas I didn't get to go as have fallen ill with pneumonia! Looks like I'm weeks if both months away from being fit enough to try it.

Ah! I assumed because all the other classes I go to at my gym were Les Mills that this one was too! Well I can only try my best I guess! My arse could probably do wit a kicking Grin

Seriously though - take it at your own pace, keep the weights light in your 1st class and don't be frightened to take extra rests should you need them.

It’s not Les Mills, it’s David Lloyd. I haven’t been but have heard it’s good.

Never heard of Blaze and I can't find it on the Les Mills website. Do you know anymore about it?
