Just realised I hit 86k in November Smile I’m pleased with that as it’s been a slow re-build again since injury. I’ll aim for 90k in Dec and hope holiday season doesn’t derail me too much Grin

Skimum I seem to get them if I run later in the day, I normally run faster and I think if I eat anything that seems to be the cause.

SkiMum99 · 28/11/2018 21:48

Glad you liked it Ltgregg Smile I need to do a new one soon

SkiMum99 · 28/11/2018 21:47

Stitches are crap. I rarely get them now but did the other day, it’s normally if ive eaten with in 1.5hrs or going too fast. At least you got a good distance in.

LtGreggs · 28/11/2018 20:55

I've just sent the 1000km trainer to my sister to print for me as a stocking filler!

thenewaveragebear1983 · 28/11/2018 18:14

7km this evening, with a rotten stitch all the way round, I actually walked some of it which I haven’t been forced to do for months. Grrrr.

1440.5/ 59.5

SkiMum99 · 28/11/2018 07:44

Welcome Ltgreggs I’ve been using a free colour in trainer off line which is pinned on the fridge and the kids keep reminding me how far I’ve gone or got to go Grin www.eagl-s.co.uk/free-download
I guess we will need a new 2019 Thread soon and a finishing ceremony Smile

LtGreggs · 27/11/2018 22:26

Just found this thread as I'm thinking of a 1000k running challenge for 2019. You lot are a total inspiration! Well done all - so impressed that so many of you are totally nailing it Grin

I've set myself a 20k per week strava challenge - reckon if I can do that most weeks until Xmas I'll give the whole of next year a shot.

SkiMum99 · 27/11/2018 09:28

Stuffed with cold Sad grrrr kids bringing bugs home from school.. it was perfect weather for my planned 10m run on Monday as well Sad instead I made chicken soup & sorted out some Xmas presents. hopefully by the weekend my mojo & clear sinuses will return.

32.68 miles of walking done this week, it would have been more but it was my birthday on Friday so I didn't do a great deal of walking!

864.64/135.36

27 miles a week and I will hit the 1000 mile target.

Drizzly Park run this morning Smile it’s the only way I can motivate myself to run faster so I’m treating it as my “fast” run of the week.

Swimming 49.2km in total

Total 1332.1k

thenewaveragebear1983 · 23/11/2018 18:59

Yes, I clocked on Fitbit that it was solid ‘fat burn’ and almost as many calories as running. I will definitely try it again next time I do a rest day, plus as Ds is now three I get the added benefit of pushing the weight of a small calf around!

SkiMum99 · 23/11/2018 18:51

I walked everywhere bear when I was on maternity leave and loved it, lost 3 stone far better fat burning for me. Just a shame I’ve now re-gained 2stone Sad over the last 5yrs and just can’t shift it despite all the running. Flipping peri-menopausal hormones have a lot to answer to! Enjoy the walking Smile I didn’t run today as stiff from my strength training session yesterday. Hoping to swim later now pool open again.

thenewaveragebear1983 · 23/11/2018 13:09

Didn’t run yesterday but instead walked my 5km route with Ds in the buggy. Won’t count that in my figures, but can’t believe I’ve never thought of doing that before on my no running days?

Today 15km

1423/ 77

SkiMum99 · 21/11/2018 20:22
