It is very nearly 2018, so here is a thread to track your exercise goals.

It doesn't matter if you are new to exercise, or merely continuing your current regime. Everyone is welcome!

Ah good tip Oub. Hadn't thought about that. I might try doing it that way then.

OublietteBravo · 22/02/2018 19:16

Back to strength today - NMTZ

It's best to do L2 first and then move on to L1. At least that is what I do.

Ah I do admire you Oub doing both levels of 6W6P together. I must try it myself one day when got lots of time.

The problem is that the side planks with leg lifts at end of L1 always finish me off to the point I can't contemplate doing anything else!!

SophieLion · 22/02/2018 13:24

Skiing again. Will need to work on abs and arms when home to balance out all the leg work this week Grin

Skiing again. My legs are killing me.....

OublietteBravo · 20/02/2018 19:37

I attempted cardio today - and I'm still just about alive. BFBM

(31/219; 25h 35min)

Oops - miscounted on the timings somewhere on the previous page. Should only be 24h 45min Blush

Thanks Oub and Blody, knee feels a bit better but not so great so did half a day skiing and then treated myself to a visit to the steam room. Feeling all floppy and relaxed now.

Oh no, hope you're both feeling better Oub and Sophie, have some Flowers Brew Cake in the meantime!
No Jillian here since Wednesday due to a combination of work shifts and half term this week. Have managed 10,000+ steps per day every day though, which is some consolation. Hoping to get back to some Jillian during the second half of this week - at least BFBM seems to have got easier since I've been doing it regularly!

OublietteBravo · 19/02/2018 19:45

Hope your knee is OK Sophie - that sounds painful.

OublietteBravo · 19/02/2018 19:44

I survived! I did NMTZ (best not to do too much cardio when sniffly).

Glad you're feeling better Oub Smile

Go for it!!! You'll probably feel sore tomorrow (but in a good way!).

Think I did something to my knee skiing today. It's really hurting. Sad Had a fall when someone clipped my ski.

OublietteBravo · 19/02/2018 17:38

Feeling better today. I'm about to attempt my first Jillian DVD in over a week. Wish me luck!

Welcome back and hope you feel better soon Oub.

We've reached 100 posts on the thread SmileSmile

OublietteBravo · 16/02/2018 17:25

I'm home, but I've definitely got DD's cold so I'm having yet another rest day Sad

OP posts:
SophieLion · 16/02/2018 07:10

Got a sore throat and feel like I might be coming down with a cold so chose something I thought might be easier with not too much jumping around: Killer Arms and Back L1.

Did use heavier weights though so still feel like I got a good workout and pleased as my arms feel they are getting stronger (my upper body is much weaker than my legs).

Tomorrow will be a rest day as we are travelling.

I really wanted to go for a run this morning but it's pouring Angry
Wasn't at all in the mood for doing a DVD but pushed myself and chose one I haven't done for ages: JM's Hard Body L2. It was, erm..... hard! Feeling much better after working out though.

One hour tennis

blodynmawr · 13/02/2018 08:00

40 min KBFF done and will walk later (hope the rain will stop at some point!)
I don't have 6W6P but anything involving plank moves is difficult! In BFBM I sometimes cheat the 4th circuit (mainly plank work) by doing strength moves instead - bicep curls, surrenders etc.

SophieLion · 13/02/2018 07:17

6W6P L2 and got one hour dance class later.

Those plank moguls are a killer! Wondering if I'm getting old as the Julian DVDs don't get any easier GrinGrin I find 6W6P (especially L2) way harder than NMTZ. What do you guys think?

Thank you Blody!
I'm thinking I should borrow DH's Fitbit as would be quite interested to know how many steps I do a day.
