A mile a day in May

I'm going to try and run (at least) a mile a day in May!

I've done C25K previously and can just about still run 5k (on a very good day with the wind behind me). I fancy a new challenge and I think this will be manageable with my hectic life!

Anyone want to join me? Smile

I've walked more than a mile. No running. But an hour's sweaty yoga.

Once I start I'll be on it.

Tomorrow if I'm up in time!

Fell off the wagon on Friday and Saturday but just did my Sunday run!

Trying not to feel let down by my weekend fail!

Yes me too. There is no debate or putting it off or saying I'll run twice as far tomo!

Fridays are my worst day tho. Never run after a pint. Not good.

Yes, I think I will.

In 2014 and 2015 I did Advent Running, half an hour every day in December - never having run before - and carried on into March in 2016.
Didn't do it in December 2016 and really regret it.

I really like the whole it's every day so there's no shall I shan't I? faffing. And the daily dose of fresh air did my monkey mind so much good.

I will start in the morning.

Running machine is good but they do take up room! Mine is in my garage.

Do you have anyone who can watch the kids?

Sometimes I take mine to the park and run round the field but they're older!

Well done! I'm not a runner, but would love to get into it. Just struggle finding time as can't leave kids alone in house to go out! Toying with idea of buying treadmill off eBay but dunno where I'd put it!

I've clocked up 14k paces today, but it was all in fits and starts. I'm sure there must be a whole mile among it somewhere.

I ran on Friday, and did a Parkrun today. Plus went to an exhibition and clocked up over a mile there too!

I don't wash my hair everyday princess. Just shower everyday and wash hair every other.
