Right back at it this morning with my MMA and circuits. Still hot so a sticky and unpleasant workout.

Oops - almost forgot to record this mornings session: 30DS L2D3 & 6W6P L1D1.5

Have a good holiday, Peter, sounds like it's well timed.

Torrential rain here so I didn't run to boxing at the gym. Class was an hour instead of 45 mins though, so it was a comprise.

(Oh, and I've decided on a hybrid name change to stop confusing myself Blush )

LordPeterWimsey · 27/05/2017 10:27

I'm all right, thanks - it was a shock at the time but I'm fine now. I tried calling 101 and hung on for ages, but didn't get through. The bike seems to be all right, and it's due a service anyway so I'll get it checked over.

Unfortunately my brain seems to be regarding it as a great excuse not to Shred, and we're off on holiday today, so that's it for a week (I'll try to do a bit of Ballet Beautiful, but won't realistically get anything else done till I get back).

RJnomore1 · 26/05/2017 23:24

😬at gnasher hope you're ok Peter

Work night out straight from work here so no training but mucho 🍷...

Step1 · 26/05/2017 20:18

Half the year has gone but finally got my mojo back. It's only been 4 years....

KanyesVest · 26/05/2017 20:12

Bloody hell, Peter, I don't know how I didn't see you post before I posted and bloody nn failed again. Are you ok? You must be in shock. Did you have any luck tracking him down?

LordPeterWimsey · 26/05/2017 20:05

Another fail here - bad night after the incident on the bike, and then it's too hot to do anything this evening. And the hairdresser has made me look like Dennis the Menace (or possibly Gnasher).

PassiveAggressiveLunchbox · 26/05/2017 19:00

5k this morning. It was 18 degrees by 7.45 so I got out as soon as I had the school run done. I could nearly wring out my t-shirt after Envy (

LordPeterWimsey · 25/05/2017 22:31

Biked to work and back again, so that's my 40 miles done for this week. A van backed into me at some traffic lights, which was a nasty shock at the time, but amazingly no damage done to me or the bike. (He tried to claim it was my fault because he couldn't see me, and then legged it before he gave me his name or address. Hey ho. I got his registration number but not sure it's worth trying to do anything with it.)

After that I'm afraid a large glass of wine was more appealing than the Shred! Kudos to people who are getting on with it regardless.

RJnomore1 · 25/05/2017 21:31

Leg day here. 9am and I was still hot bothered grumpy and sweating buckets. Big respect to my long suffering pt.

She did tell me I need to cut the carbs to drop weight for my holiday 😞 I know that though.

Whilst it is lovely to have some warm, sunny weather, it isn't helping my motivation! I psyched myself up and did NMTZ. Definitely in need of a shower now...

Lacking in motivation here too RJ. I was working late and dinner took priority when j got home. I did go for a 30 minute strollwalk instead.

RJnomore1 · 24/05/2017 20:54

Lacking motivation this week. Came straight home from work and ate a double decker 🐽 It's horrrible here, it's hot but just heavy and airless. Not nice sunny motivating weather, headache weather.

LordPeterWimsey · 24/05/2017 20:37

I felt bad after posting, so I've done the Ballet Beautiful bridge series. Only 15 minutes but owww.

TooStressyForMyOwnGood · 24/05/2017 19:59

Had an unplanned rest day yesterday as wasn't feeling very well. Felt better today and thought about doing a DVD but cba had power walked for 30 minutes to get to a work meeting so justified that as gentle exercise.

LordPeterWimsey · 24/05/2017 19:25

Biked to work and back. Was planning to do 30DS L2, but DD had a friend over and her mother stayed for a glass of wine when she picked her up. So I think that's postponed till a day when I'm feeling less summery and indolent (and hot!).

OublietteBravo · 24/05/2017 19:06

Kettlebell fitness. Working hard, I did a fair bit of the class with the 24kg bell. Just not presses. Yet.

I did no exercise until after I was 30. I walked I suppose.

LordPeterWimsey · 23/05/2017 20:35

30DS L2 and Ballet Beautiful inner thigh workout done. Much warmer here too.

blodynmawr, I was a complete exercise avoider all through my 20s - started cycling to work when I hit 30. I don't really feel I missed out on anything through that decade of inactivity - I think wistfully of it from time to time!

randomsabreuse · 23/05/2017 20:18

9.5 mile run. Mostly uphill but only gradual so counts as 10 miles. 5 miles next week then 12 week after (as long runs on my half plan). Should be able to run a half race but will need to consider fuelling - had a decent lunch admittedly with a half of beer (we're on holiday!) and definitely needed my emergency fruit paw prints at about 8 miles. Might stick with them as they're easy! And I have access.

OublietteBravo · 23/05/2017 20:01

NMTZ for me this evening. Gosh - it's really feeling warmer. I definitely need a shower.

Gym at lunchtime, some kettle bells, light weights and core work. The place was full of macho boys men egging each other on and the only other woman was on a cardio machine at the other end of the gym. I was much more interested in watching all the showboating and preening among themselves to be really focussed on what I was doing Blush

blodynmawr · 23/05/2017 07:20

Stil JMing here Smile.
Pre kids, throughout my 20s, I was a jog to the gym and back every day kinda gal...

LordPeterWimsey · 22/05/2017 22:07

Rest day here too - planned as I knew I wouldn't have time for exercise, I've only just finished for the day.
