Yes - during! I was the tutor (via Skype from the comfort of my own dining room).

Hi guys, just checking in in spite of doing nothing yet this week. We are in Spain and it's been either really hot, really humid or both, so a couple of hours of mucking about in the pool with the children is all I'm managing. It's lovely though, despite the bloody mosquito bites.

I'm reading about your children with increasing dread...mine are 5&7 so looks like I've a long time of running around to go Grin

They seem to think I should entertain them (as well as working FT and keeping everything at home ticking over). Plus they always seem to be after money in some form or other.

It's the endless taking places at that age isn't it.

My oldest is 18 and off to uni in a few weeks and the littlest is 13 next month. It's been quite good lately as we have been able to pay the oldest to babysit, like tomorrow.

OublietteBravo · 01/08/2017 22:34

DD is 13 and DS is 11. So fairly self-sufficient, but not really independent.

They were horrified when they realised that i expected them to wash up their own dinner plates!

How old are your kids oub?

OublietteBravo · 01/08/2017 20:28

It's all a bit hectic here. DH is in the USA, so I'm parenting on my own.

NMTZ.

I'm planning a rest day tomorrow too. I'm teaching from 17:00-20:00, so unlikely to have time.

Tuesday is Kettlebell class.

I'm having tomorrow off as I'm away to see Texas playing at the kelvingrove bandstand in Glasgow.

Went and trained with dh tonight which I don't often get a chance to do. Showed off to him with my strict press - 4 sets of 6 reps at 40kg and didn't use my legs at all 😁💪🏻

Wine and game of thrones now!

OublietteBravo · 31/07/2017 19:47

Rest days Saturday and Sunday. Kids are back, so juggling exercise with pick-ups and drop-offs. Managed 6W6P L1 this evening.

July hasn't been my greatest month. I definitely need a solid start to August.

Sunday means MMA circuits and DOMS from yesterday's deadlifting which is not a lovely combination.

Rest day yesterday. I was teaching a tutorial from 17:00-20:00, so by the time I got home all I wanted to do was eat.

Back to normal this evening: 30DS L3D7 & 6W6P L2D8.5

(116h 55min; 151/99)

It feels great to have fewer than 100 sessions left until I reach my target Grin

Both ahead of schedule I think oub.

KanyesLunchbox · 25/07/2017 20:54

Yesterday was bedlam so didn't get much walking. Made up for it today with 16k steps so far!

OublietteBravo · 25/07/2017 19:06

Feeling more motivated today. NMTZ.

I'm hoping I can keep this up; did astrebgth session today (I have a new 3x weekly programme) then hung around and stuck into a kettlebell sport session and some serious stretches. I'm feeling good and confident - I need to stay like this until 12th August for my competition. I will struggle to walk tomorrow after my big barbell squats but I can live with that!!
