Did my 10k this morning. 67 and a bit minutes (yay - beat my target comfortably!) Smothered myself in sun tan lotion so managed not to frazzle.

Slow 5k with running club tomorrow plus must do some core and weights work as I've got a month to my next race (10k pretty muddy!)

DeliciousIrony · 09/04/2017 16:22

Body Rev workout 12 done this morning, followed by cardio 3 just now...really did not want to do the cardio as it's boiling here, but I've just about huffed and puffed my way through it.

RJnomore1 · 09/04/2017 10:47

SHaping up to be lovely here again today.

MMA/circuits this morning. Feeling on target again after a couple of ropey weeks.

Enjoy the sun everyone.

70/180

It was our best day of the year here too, I had to break out the sunscreen for the children (ds is so fair he's almost transparent). It has cooled right down though, so in went for my run and managed a slow 8k.

TooStressyForMyOwnGood · 08/04/2017 21:01

I'm here! Just not achieving anything- my excuse is school holidays!

DeliciousIrony · 08/04/2017 19:26

I'm here! And enjoying the lovely weather. Went for a run around the reservoir this morning, then a good walk into town to do some shopping, and now I've just done Body Rev workout 11. I feel shattered now, looking forward to Wine.

RJnomore1 · 08/04/2017 17:57

It's gorgeous weather here Kanye, me and my two friends ran along the shore yesterday and it was really nice. Hope you enjoy yours.

KanyesVest · 08/04/2017 16:23

Still here RJ! Had a rest day yesterday, but have been doing lots of gardening and hoping to go for a run later.

RJnomore1 · 08/04/2017 13:59

Where are you all?

Thai boxing today
69/181

RJnomore1 · 07/04/2017 19:28

And a run tonight to add to that...

68/182

RJnomore1 · 06/04/2017 22:07

Ooh there you are I fell off the end of the thread somehow.

However so far this week I have managed a Thai boxing pt a 6 mile hill walk and tonight's metafit.

67/183. Bodybuilding pt and a short run tomorrow. Hopefully back on track now.

How's everyone?

KanyesVest · 06/04/2017 21:50

Haven't updated in a dew days but I'm doing a lot of core work and a couple of runs this week. The interval runs are definitely helping which is great.

randomsabreuse · 06/04/2017 21:49

Last run before the weekend - 30 minutes out, 30 minutes back, managed just over 8k with the 2nd half quicker than the first so good confidence boost for Sunday's 10k. Basically rest until then so just the usual toddler chasing!

OublietteBravo · 06/04/2017 19:11

A short session for me this evening (6W6P L1) because I need to pack

Not sure how I'll get on with exercising while I'm away.

I had a rest day yesterday, and kicked off with Body Rev workout 11 today. The first circuit of that was the absolute pits, which must mean it's doing me some good...

OublietteBravo · 05/04/2017 19:42

I've just done NMTZ. I think my weights are starting to feel too light. I might need some new, heavier ones.

randomsabreuse I have the same problem - since I started running 3 days a week it's hard to fit anything else in, as everything else is meant to be a rest day! But I know I'm meant to be doing something strength-building too. I'll have to just ignore some rest days where I'm not feeling too spent.

Good luck in your 10k! My only 10k was 1hr20 so congrats if you get anywhere remotely near the hour!

randomsabreuse · 03/04/2017 21:41

Sniffle - I have the same problem. I quite like the free 30 day challenges (Squats, Abs and some others) as at least I get to progress and tick boxes on my phone. Other 30 day workout programmes on youtube, with a variety of workouts including weights also helped a bit but since I've been prioritising running it got complicated fitting in rest days around runs which are dictated by DH's work so I need to find a way of enjoying non-impact weights work which I am finding tricky at the moment.

3 run days in a row, Park Run, 7.5k and then clun 5k today plus about a k to the meeting point. Tomorrow weights, Wednesday rest and then club 10k on Thursday. Have a 10k race on Sunday, feel massively under prepared as have missed a couple of planned training sessions as DH got caught at work. But should finish just suspect it will be nowhere near the hour unless I can sort out my pace at the start on an allegedly flat course!

OublietteBravo · 03/04/2017 19:55

Struggling with motivation today. I did 6W6P L1 for a bit of a change.

Body Revolution workout 10 done, and as I'm counting my run yesterday as cardio, that means I can move onto week 11 tomorrow. My thighs are killing me at the moment so today was a struggle.

OublietteBravo · 02/04/2017 21:00

Oops ^that should be NMTZ.

MNRZ again for me. Mainly because I was too lazy to switch the DVD over Blush

RJ, I really don't like my job. It must be miserable to have a lovely one then have to go back to one that is not so good Flowers

RJnomore1 · 02/04/2017 16:12

What type of strength exercises are you doing sniffle?
