What's your steps today?

I think I'm just over 11,000.

I'm just asking so I can see what other people are up to.

Heya, just checking in.

Have sent a few people messages but if I've missed you I'm really sorry, got a headache, DD was supposed to be going to my mums for a little bit but she got really upset at the idea of leaving me so we are at home now!

Rough day X

biggreen you're really going for it!
Sorry about your GrandDad pirate

On holiday this week - did Bootcamp this morning but I'll be sitting on my arse all afternoon on a plane. Steps so far 9500...will be interesting to see how far we walk while sightseeing.

wispaxmas · 21/06/2016 12:36

Pirate, take it easy, it's tough losing a loved one!

6,300 so far today, I don't know if I'll get to 15k today Sad

InMySpareTime · 21/06/2016 00:05

My last two days of step counts have been rubbish as I was on a plane to Vietnam for 12 hours across them and jet lagged in the humidity yesterday. Back on it today eh?

BigGreenOlives · 20/06/2016 22:28
  1. The first 5500 were in a deluge this morning. Had to change everything. 💐 Pirate, go easy on yourself.
deepdarkwood · 20/06/2016 22:00

Pirate - honestly, being at a funeral is about the best 'excuse' for a low fitbit count I can think of short of giving birth!! Seriously, give yourself some time to grieve, and think and just be - funerals really take it out of you, and it sounds like some down time would be good. Remember, it was the tortoise that won the race in the end ....

I'm looking at a massively low step count tomorrow as I'll be working from 9am-10pm (not all the time, but it'll be pretty solid) - so advance warning to you all!

Thank you to whoever it was added me on fitbit (I'm sure I knew at the time, but now I've already forgotten Blush

PirateFairy45 · 20/06/2016 21:02

Thanks ladies. Just struggling a lot. X

15,007 today, and I was aiming for 15k, so quite happy I hit it before collapsing onto the sofa for the evening!

PirateFairy45 · 20/06/2016 14:42

Shock only just close to 5000 today, crap. Well my excuse is I've been at a funeral all morning and still at the wake now.

Think I'm having a nap when I get home. Head is killing me and was up most of the night :(

GeekLove · 20/06/2016 14:39

Just about made 10k yesterday mostly by dealing with the garden between the rain. Want to make 12th again but still have dodgy ankle. Wish fitbit were mudproof.

PirateFairy45 · 20/06/2016 14:39

Anyone who'd like to add me, could you send me your email addresses? I'll add when I get chance. Just at the wake now. Sad

OP posts:
gamerchick · 20/06/2016 14:33

Yep just email address.

PseudoBadger · 20/06/2016 14:28

So far today. Can I PM you Gamer? What do you need, just email?

So far today, 5.978 steps and 1,147 calories.Really glad there's somewhere to compare!

Have done a class today that had 20 mins cardio workout, so that's upped my stats, but haven't done much else. Doing pilates later, but pilates does not impress fitbit one bit!

gamerchick · 20/06/2016 13:40

You can PM me if you want wood and I'll add you now while I'm having a sit down.

deepdarkwood · 20/06/2016 12:39

Cool - more fitbit competitors mates ;-)

So ... who is being the organised one/who do I pm, Piratefairy or gamerchick?

I have discovered a fitbit related injury over the weekend! I think I am developing haglands deformity (or pump bump!) as I'm getting a small raised area at the back of one heel! It's not sore yet so I am ignoring it... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haglund%27s_deformity

Hope the wake is as 'good' as these things can be, pirate fairy :-(

wispaxmas · 20/06/2016 09:03

Just, I'm normally at home, but on the odd day I'm working I skip the bus and walk to the station, then from the station in London and can get 8000 just from the round trip, then it's not difficult to do 5 minutes every hour up being up and walking for me. But you're right, with a sedentary job it's much harder- I know someone who runs miles to work in the morning to get her steps!

JudyCoolibar · 20/06/2016 08:21

Does anyone else find the problem is time? My job is sedentary and quite pressured, and I find during the week I struggle to hit 10,000.

gamerchick · 20/06/2016 08:16

Well all we need are email addresses to find Fitbit friends. If someone wants to add us all or I could do it.

PirateFairy45 · 20/06/2016 08:10

Yeah. If anyone wants to send me their email over pm I'll add today when I get home?

NameNumber2 · 20/06/2016 06:31

Just found you all! I average about 13k steps a day but having come back from holiday I have become mega lazy. I would love to have more Fitbit friends, could we do it through PMs?
