Well done knackerelli!!

A lot of my club mates swear by foam rollers.

I haven't entered yet OhOneOhTwoOhThree, will let you know :)

OhOneOhTwoOhThree · 29/06/2014 21:01

Well done Knackerelli!

I would be interested to hear about foam rolling too - I think I have (self-diagnosed) IT band problems.

Sirzy · 29/06/2014 20:44

does anyone use a foam roller to stretch after runs?

Hi everyone, some brilliant times! Can I add my very first cross country 10k? Am very much a road runner but managed 69:20. My legs are letting me know about it now though!

Sirzy · 29/06/2014 19:51

Well done Karate, fab time!

Thuraday enjoy the rainbow run Smile.

Wow Vlad well done. I can't imagine being able to run HM distance, even though I'm doing one in October Shock.

karatekimmi · 29/06/2014 13:35

afternoon all, some awesome running taking place, the like of which I can only dream of!!

I did 8k running to and round the parkrun - getting a new PB of 29.15!! I was hoping for a sub 30, and was extremely chuffed with this!!

1782.2

cinnamongreyhound · 29/06/2014 13:05

Bleugh, what a hideous day!! I had 4 he's sleep so didn't go early for a run and was contemplating an early evening run but not if this weather continues, has been lobbing it down since 10 :(

emummy · 29/06/2014 12:58

thursday hope you have a good time! Did 5k today, felt a bit slow and sluggish, never mind. Enjoyed standing outside to cheer on the commonwealth baton first, dcs had fun

ThursdayLast · 29/06/2014 10:36

5madthings · 29/06/2014 10:33

Ohoneohtwoohthree remind me who you are on Fb again? And let us know what time you will sign up to for Marriott way, there are three starts, 11am 11:10 and 11:20 :)

vladthedisorganised · 29/06/2014 10:25

On the app so can't convert, but had to share last night's 12.3 miles.. almost up to HM distance!! A PB of 2 hours which I'm madly pleased with. Finished up in a shower of rain which was lovely. Felt so pleased when I saw the time that I was buzzing for ages. Now just need to stock up on more jelly snakes...

postmanpatscat · 29/06/2014 08:59

Another vote for the Forerunner 10 here!

originalpiratematerial · 29/06/2014 08:25

I have the 10 as well and it's fine. I just wanted something to measure distance etc accurately, unlike endomondo!

OhOneOhTwoOhThree · 28/06/2014 23:41

Hellooooo 5mad It would be lovely to run with you and cinnamon again Smile

We are going to be in the neighbourhood for the weekend, so it would be silly not to really wouldn't it? (and it would help me not overdo things at the party we've been invited to the night before Grin)

Morrigu · 28/06/2014 23:34

I have the 10 and it does the job for all I need it to do. No heart rate monitor. Have seen online people complaining it doesn't do current pace and only does pace for the last lap but I don't spend that much time studying it when I'm running so that doesn't bother me. Not too bulky, picks up signal quick and it's lime green :)

cinnamongreyhound · 28/06/2014 23:14

Yes I do, I used to but I worry a lot less about calories burned now and I found it pinched my skin between it and my bra :(

Blatherskite · 28/06/2014 23:11

I've got the 110, DH has the 100 with HRM. He very rarely uses the monitor. I wouldn't bother personally. I'm not sure it's necessary for anyone other than elite athletes or the very anal Wink

SoftKittyWarmKitty · 28/06/2014 22:51

Cinnamon Do you have the heart rate monitor version? If so, do you use it?

5madthings · 28/06/2014 22:43

It's a nice run, fairly flat and mainly off road. Still places available :) and not an early start which is always good as far as I am concerned. I may enter.
