I'm also a brooks wearer myself, the adrenaline ones as I overpronate.
That's some amount of lengths madthings. I used to love swimming but doubt I could do two these days.
Hi IncidentalGoat and louwn
Glad you're feeling much better pirate. Enjoy your
or whatever it is you are having tonight. My hm training has also gone out the window too lately with injury. Rapidly approaching two week sunshine holiday won't help either. Sure these things happen.
This is going to sounds really strange but since starting the longer distances the odd time I've noticed a real ammonia smell once I hit home. Didn't think anything of it other than my nose must be playing up but last night I googled expecting nothing only to find out it's quite common. Has anyone else had this?
Apparently it's the body has run out of carbs for fuel so is using protein which obviously I don't particularly want to happen. Don't get it as I love carbs and have always ate loads of them, only thing being that I don't eat for about two hours before running. Should I be eating something then a bit closer to going out? I also take a handful of sweets with me on longer runs and usually have a few so it's not like I'm running on empty.
