Kick, I'm not sure it burns as many calories as mfp logs! I logged 4 hours but actually been cleaning and running around packing since 6am!!
So no JM for me again.

StuntNun · 19/05/2014 17:15

30DS L1D32 done but a phone call in the middle didn't help.

ErrolTheDragon · 19/05/2014 14:18

NMTZ this morning. Maybe the 6w6p did do something, the side plank things in the last circuit seemed a bit easier.

IdkickJilliansAss · 18/05/2014 16:32

Ohh exciting spinning all that cleaning is good cardio!

Hi ladies Grin

I haven't jm'd this weekend!! I'm moving in about a week and got the keys to new house on Friday and its filthy so I've been very busy cleaning!! Will be back with JM tomorrow! Grin

IdkickJilliansAss · 18/05/2014 14:45

Totally ripped core done today

StuntNun · 18/05/2014 10:38

Kettlebells today but only 25 minutes as DS3 was crying.

StuntNun · 17/05/2014 21:14

30DS D31L1 done today. I used heavier weights on all the weights exercises - 3kg where I could and 2kg where the first set with 3kg was too much - and I held the 1kg weights for all the cardio sections. It was a great workout, I was much sweatier than I had been on level 1 and those press ups and arm exercises are just what I need at the moment.

IdkickJilliansAss · 17/05/2014 20:52

BFBM done.

Well I can certainly feel my core today! I feel like i'm wearing a belt around them iyswim Smile One thing I forgot to mention about the Bob Harper dvds is his disproportionally small legs, I find it very distracting Grin

Bob Harper totally ripped core done! I really enjoyed it, it has a timer on the screen so you can see how long you've got left which I find helpful. It wasn't too fast paced but I still worked up a sweat and it has some ab exercises that I haven't tried before. Will report tomorrow evening to see how much my abs hurt!

IdkickJilliansAss · 16/05/2014 13:23

Thanks spinningirl10 - impressed by your energy by the way!

Well, I'm aching today. My bum and thighs are really feeling it which I suppose is the idea. Bit depressing how a few weeks off can reduce me back to this state. Might have time to fit in another session today. I ought to really before it becomes overwhelming again.

spinningirl10 · 16/05/2014 09:51

Hi Lindt, good to see you and yay for getting back into it Grin

Change of plans today after I'd got up early and done RI30 L4! So as my ds was already booked into breakfast club at school I too k advantage and went to the gym for an hour. Ran for half an hour and then did 10mins on the rower and some weights/abs.

Fabulous sunny day here, hope the sun is shining where you areGrin

StuntNun · 15/05/2014 19:31

Oooh I'd like to hear about Bob Harper DVDs too.

LindtSeventyPercent · 15/05/2014 19:08

Hello!

Today I did KB&T L1 and it wasn't too bad. Haven't done anything for weeks but actually got through this more easily than I was doing before. Also, weighed myself for the first time in weeks and I seem to have lost weight too but I think this is just loss of muscle tone as I don't feel skinnier!

I still don't feel good about any of it though. I think I'm bored and need something to reignite my enthusiasm. Do you reckon kettlebells would do the trick?

spinningirl10 · 15/05/2014 18:34

Ooh Kick, I've got Bob Harper now! Not sure how my knee will fare! Let us know what you think of the others when they arrive.
No JM for me today, long day and I'm tired now, another busy day tomorrow but I'll set my alarm early and get it done!!

IdkickJilliansAss · 15/05/2014 11:40

I ordered some more Bob Harpers last night, will report back when they arrive. Just went on a 2 hour power walk with a friend and I have a circuit class tonight so I dont think i'll be jm'ing but definately tomorrow

I loved Ri30, do a different level if you find it too easy....it gets tougherGrin definitely good all over workout. You can always use bigger weights!

Not sure I'll get anything done today. Had to be up super early to travel for work. Will see if I can do something laterGrin

EarSlaps · 15/05/2014 00:39

Ripped is total body. I hear the L1 is pretty easy, but I've not actually done it. The other levels are definitely a good workout.

Did Killer L1 today, it's growing on me!

Love the idea of the kettlebell DVD stunt- I need something to do upper body really so it sounds great. I'm going to give the local classes a try too.

positively9something · 14/05/2014 22:42

Hi all,

Just looking for some advice I did ripped in 30 today which i found easier than shred, I'm not sure if it's as good and would like to hear how others found it.

Which DVDs work which parts? Also I think when I did shred my calves looked bigger than they did before and I don't want them to get bigger.

What parts does ripped in 30 work mostly?

spinningirl10 · 14/05/2014 13:37

Hi all,

Today I've done 30ds L3 and 7 circuits from NMTZ and BFBM.

StuntNun · 14/05/2014 06:48

EarSlaps I'm completely sold on kettlebells. I've been doing the Kettlebells for Beginners DVD with a 4 kg bell and boy can I feel it the next day. It's working all the right places, especially my lats, biceps, glutes and hamstrings. I think I will get another DVD though as the one I have is great for toning and abs but I would like one for leg strength as well whereas the one I have is more upper-body orientated.
