I need to have someone to do this with, I tried it once and got to day 3 but then gave up. Please join me if you want to attempt this with me.

Mummytom I have the DVD that I bought for amazn but you can find level one on youtube.

I was supposed to start today but haven't. Procrastination on DAY 1! Sad . There's 33 minutes left for today to be officially over so I suppose I could still do it before I get into bed.... If I was really serious about it I would...

Hmm

This thread all sounds very exciting and would like to change shape. Could someone tell me more info or where I can get programme from.
Sorry if I have missed a message but new here and only come on during night feeds do always bit dazed x

Hello - another joiner from the February thread here. I'm on L4 of Ri30 so nearly done and will be doing it all over again in March. Great to see so many new shredders - stick with it, you won't regret it. I had the 30DS DVD still in its wrapper for a year before I started it in September. Now I'm addicted. For anyone who is just starting a good tip is to measure yourself. A lot of people lose inches rather than weight when shredding (unless following a diet plan as well).

Dontbugmemalone · 01/03/2014 20:48

L1 day 3 of the shred, done.

I had very sore muscles on Friday and Saturday but hopefully it will better tomorrow.

It also helps if I remember why I'm doing this.

spinningirl10 · 01/03/2014 20:36

GandT.....Lindt has is doing 6week 6 pack, she's already completed 30Day shred. Some of us that save also finished shred are now doing ripped in 30 so we've got a few going on here! Quite nice really as you can get advice on what you're doing or what to do next.....hope you're enjoying the shred Grin

GandTnow · 01/03/2014 19:14

You stopped aching after day 4? I hope so, did it for the first time this morning and feeling a bit sore now. But I guess three days is not too long to go! Will be getting up and doing it again tomorrow morning first thing ( before I'm awake enough to think about it!)

6W6P L1D4 done. Still enjoying it and have stopped aching now!

spinningirl10 · 01/03/2014 17:38

Hi all Grin

I've come over from the February thread!

Ri30 D11 L2 done Grin

I've just taken a look at Level 3!!! Scary!

GeorginaWorsley · 01/03/2014 13:01

Started 30 day shred last week and im loving it!
Still on level one.

Crazyhours · 01/03/2014 12:00

Hello, can I join? I did L1D1 this morning, I found it ok. Want to join this thread to help keep me motivated. I'm ok weight wise but really flabby so hoping it'll turn me into a 5 foot 4 Heidi Klum Grin

FCEK · 01/03/2014 11:23

I keep meaning to give it a go so this thread should hopefully motivate me!

StuntNun · 01/03/2014 11:19

I'm moving over from the Feb shred thread, just done L1D5 with only one rest day so far. I might have to go those inclined press ups a try as mine are completely hopeless, I can only bend my elbows a fraction and then I have to come up.

MrJollyLivesNextDoor · 01/03/2014 10:32

I must say I found day 2 harder going than day 1, mind you I did put a bit more oomph into it

Thanks Errol for the push ups tips, really helped

I do like the having to do it everyday methodology as it is making me do it, ordinarily I would think 'oh I'll do it later' but later doesn't always materialise Smile

Right, Day 3 here I come tena lady at the ready for the starjacksBlush

GandTnow · 01/03/2014 07:24

Oh.....my.....word...... Level 1 day 1 (pant, puff, weep)

Oh Tib that 30 day shred on MFP might be the one I guessed at and added yesterday (250 cals?) ...it was just a guestimate - and probably a bit over judging by Errol's post above - I forgot it gets saved for everyone to use Blush

Just about to do day 2, wish I'd done it this morning!

puds11isNAUGHTYnotNAICE · 28/02/2014 17:28

In either Tib I literally saw no difference. I was taking weekly pics as well, but nothing changed. This time I'll do it properly though. I need to see a change.

20mins wips

WipsGlitter · 28/02/2014 17:26

How long does the actual work out last?

ErrolTheDragon · 28/02/2014 17:16

I couldn't find it - if you can please do enlighten us.

i'm just trying to get to grips with mfp. I am quite liking zapping bar codes of things, makes it much easier.

I'm going for a 3 mile walk in a bit with 5 stone of lazy toddlers & double buggy. Then i have to work out how to log exercise! Wink

ErrolTheDragon · 28/02/2014 11:38

MrJolly - I log it as 'circuit training, general'. I do a few extra exercises afterwards so put it down as 30 mins which comes out as 232. I'm not sure whether that's an over or under estimate.

If you can't do press-ups, try doing inclined press-ups instead. Start at whatever level you can manage - which may be against the wall or using eg a kitchen counter, sofa arm - anything solid. Then you can gradually work down as you get stronger. I've still not reached the floor! (I can do the knee press-ups now, but just doing those I wasn't progressing).

MrJollyLivesNextDoor · 28/02/2014 09:24

I've just added you tibili Smile

I did it yesterday, was quite interesting with 3yo DS trying to pretend hoover around me as I was doing it Grin

I didn't find it too bad actually, I think my fitness level must have increased from using the bike without me realising it.
I can't do push ups to save my life Grin and that very last set of crunches at the end oh my word Shock
I'm feeling it more in my upper arms than anywhere else.

I thought it seemed quite light on cardio, not that I'm complaining!
I was even able to go on the bike straight afterwards.

Does anyone know how many calories (approx) it uses up? I hazarded a guess at 250 so I could enter it on MFP
