I need to have someone to do this with, I tried it once and got to day 3 but then gave up. Please join me if you want to attempt this with me.

Signing in to the March thread. Hello everyone!

30DS L1D4 done. Was feeling good about finding the weights easy and then did the side lunges. Ouch! I'm trying to shred every other day as I do a lot of walking. I already feel stronger so can't wait to see the physical results!

Oohdaddypig, I'm so sorry to hear your news but glad you can see some positives. I hope you can get it all sorted. Thanks

2tiredtocare · 03/03/2014 10:07

Well done Mamma Smile

MammaGnomes · 03/03/2014 10:06

L1D1 done. wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be, I only had to stop once and that was at the beginning. I suspect tomorrow will be harder as I will be aching from today.

2tiredtocare · 03/03/2014 09:57

6W6P L1 D5 done, I added extra weight today and sweated profusely

spinningirl10 · 03/03/2014 09:55

Oohdaddy....sorry to hear you were burgled! How awful.

GandT....agree with Errol, aches should go soonGrin

ErrolTheDragon · 03/03/2014 09:45

Morning all - Ri30 L1D5 done.

G&T - typically the aches are bad for the first 3-4 days and then ease off - stick with it!

GandTnow · 03/03/2014 09:16

Got up and did level 1 day 3 today. Really aching, when does the aching get better?

Wow, page 4 already!

Just checking into the thread as I need to pull my finger out and get cracking with Jillian again this month and I have confidence that joining this thread will help me along. The support on the previous threads was fantastic and really kept me going.
I completed my 1st ever 30DS in January / Feb and have had a couple of weeks slacking trying to redo L1 just to gauge my new fitness / strength levels. They have definitely improved and I think I need to bite the bullet and start Ri30 before I lose what I gained with 30DS.
Got the ILs staying tues / weds so will do my last L1 30DS tomorrow and start Ri30 on thurs when I get my house back!

WillColbert · 02/03/2014 23:11

D6L4 of Ri30 done.

Sorry to hear about your rubbish week oohdaddypig. I completely agree though that physical exercise has a really positive mental impact as well. JM has a small session at the end of L4 where she talks about using your physical achievements to be more positive in other areas of your life. I like that part, and not just because I get to lie down with my eyes closed!

oohdaddypig · 02/03/2014 22:13

30DS level 2,D2. Enjoyed it.

Had a horrible week of being burgled. Feeling stronger physically has made me feel stronger mentally. JM did hint at this impacting positively on other areas of your life and I would agree. In a way that long slow runs never have.

TessTackle · 02/03/2014 20:02

I'm in! Tomorrow night I start at level one again. I think I got to d5 of level 2 last time, had a break for my birthday and fell off the wagon completely. Looking forward to it!

Crazyhours · 02/03/2014 15:16

Thanks Stuntnun, I forgot about the bust. I'm going to go and measure everything - nothing to lose!

StuntNun · 02/03/2014 12:33

Crazy I measure bust, wrist and forearm as well. You can use waist, hips, forearm and wrist measurements in some online calculators to calculate your % body fat. If you're looking to loose weight or build muscle then you may want to measure your bicep and thighs as well.

Crazyhours · 02/03/2014 12:30

Ok I've just measured my waist and hips is there anywhere else I should measure?

pinkflaming0 · 02/03/2014 12:06

L2D5 just done.

Had a couple of days off last week as went to Ceroc on Monday so no time then I hurt my hip dancing so had to take Tues off as well. Anyway - back on it now!

spinningirl10 · 02/03/2014 11:38

Morning allGrin

Rest day for me, my bodies aching today!! Going to have a swim and jacuzzi a bit later and see if that sorts me out, might even have a short run on treadmill. Will be back to Ri30 tomorrowGrin

Jillian does say on Ri30 that you must have a rest day each week! I'm not very good at taking rest days but it helps your body to mend and you often come back stronger after a day off! Do watch your knees!!! Some ladies have had to give up because of their knees but if they're hurting then modify the movements to make them easier for you on your knees!!

And I agree with what Will said.....for all you newbies, take measurements!!!

Crazyhours · 02/03/2014 11:10

Just completed L1D2, found it easier than yesterday but think it's because I knew what to expect. However, my knees are beginning to hurt.

GandT I feel the same as you about rest days, so I'm going to try and do it every day - but I think I'm going to find it difficult to fit it in/find the energy on the days I work.

GandTnow · 02/03/2014 10:21

No Mummytom there are three levels, I got the dvd off amazon (quite cheaply I think) I think that you're meant to do 10 days on level 1 then 10 level 2 and the final 10 on level 3.

I hope that's right! Smile

Mummytom1403 · 02/03/2014 09:54

Do you just repeat the level one YouTube post every day for 30 days

GandTnow · 02/03/2014 09:45

Also just done level1 day 2. Feeling sore and have aching legs, but really pleased I got up and did it.

Thanks spinninggirl just showing my total lack of the lingo on this thread Blush Super new!!!

Can someone tell me about rest days, do you have to take them? I worry I'll lose my get up and go if I stop. But if they help then obviously I give it a go. Its just that they're not mentioned on the DVD.
Thanks x
