Quite a few of us are interested in doing the Wolf Run this September so we were thinking of getting a team together.

It's for all abilities, it should be really good fun. It's not timed and it'll be too wet to wear your Garmin, so don't worry if you're not a fast runner. We'll be a team and no Wolef will be left behind.

It's on the 6th & 7th of September just south of Coventry, so fairly central. If we get a team together we get a slightly discounted entry.

If you're interested, post on here and we'll start making a list.

We also need to pick a charity so if everyone wants to suggest their favourite one and then we can argue about it for ages with no firm decision being made.

So, I'm in and my favourite charity is the Birth Trauma Association.

Showed DS some of the photos from last w/e before school - he is completely inspired (he's 8 :)), I'm a mix of fear and excitement and am now fretting about my glasses Hmm

Standingonlego · 30/04/2014 22:35

Ok folks - pack 2 all registered and paid....so feetheart, bigfoot, EurRouge plus my unsuspecting BF - lets call her crockery - are ready to go Grin

OhOne - the packcode thing worked just really easily and cross matched to MN Wolefs straight away :)

OhOneOhTwoOhThree · 30/04/2014 21:54

Grin Grin Grin

lego you are on a roll today!

Standingonlego · 30/04/2014 21:20

Just relieved you and feetheart are there for the wall - she is a short arse too, but does have perfect eyesight!

Standingonlego · 30/04/2014 21:19

Don't worry bigfoot i have an unsuspecting non- MNing best friend at the other end of the uk who I will enter as number 5 :)

She is a runner and up for a challenge...I owe her a surprise...and I know her DOB Grin

BigfootFiles · 30/04/2014 21:09

My friend can't make it, so sorry to mess you about. :( Standing, I've PM'd you. Will see if I can rustle anyone else up but not hopeful.

Any lurkers lurking who want to take the plunge?!

BigfootFiles · 30/04/2014 20:29

I've PM'd you... but just seen you've replied, so you know that. :) I'll get back to you with friend's details as soon as she gets back to me!

I'm 5' 10" too, so perhaps we can form the base of some sort of human pyramid, Feetheart?

Standingonlego · 30/04/2014 19:07

I am desperately PMing Big Foot (and also her friend) as they are the missing links for pack 2 - i have all I need from EauRouge and Feetheart.

Starting to fret....

feetheart · 30/04/2014 17:20

Oh lordy, lordy...that looks high.

Am I the official shover-upper then with my 5' 10" frame?

Reastie · 30/04/2014 16:36

Hello hello everyone.

you may remember I came on this thread all full of energy to do the wolef run then realised just how hard it was and chickened out Blush .

So, at work I've been asked if I want to join a team and do the nuts challenge . I just wondered if anyone here has done it and how hard core it is/how it compares to wolf run? Would like to do an assult course type event but I'm not sure if this is as hard core as wolf run. I'm looking for a wolf run-lite. Thanks

EauRouge · 30/04/2014 14:03

Not sure if this FB link will work, but have a look at this photo from the Spring Wolf Run- Eek! We're going to have to stand on each other's shoulders Grin

Oh yes - EauRouge, Feetheart & Big Foot - I need your e-mail addresses too please so WOLF can send you info direct.

Standingonlego · 30/04/2014 06:56

Fabulous work OhOne - i am just waiting for Big Foot to send her friends info - RL Name, DOB and T shirt size then I am all ready to go :)

Mitchy1nge · 29/04/2014 23:17

how do I get the dinero to you ohone?

OhOneOhTwoOhThree · 29/04/2014 23:14

I have PM'd lego the pack ID. We can have up to 30 in our pack, so can let other latecomers have the ID if needed.

OhOneOhTwoOhThree · 29/04/2014 23:13

Tis done

I booked for Sunday to give people time to get there if travelling long distances (we had a CI Wolef at one point) - I couldn't see any other preferences when I went back through the thread.

It was 176 quid for 5 with the discount, so 35 pounds each.

OhOneOhTwoOhThree · 29/04/2014 22:44

Gotcha!

Mitchy1nge · 29/04/2014 22:41

k, should have it now?

OhOneOhTwoOhThree · 29/04/2014 22:37

Mitchy - forgot to ask for your email addy (WOLF people need it to send instructions nearer the time)

Mitchy1nge · 29/04/2014 22:24

is done

feel quite excited, glad I signed up for this!

OhOneOhTwoOhThree · 29/04/2014 22:18

Righty-ho lego but will probably be tomorrow so if you have time before then go ahead. What are we calling ourselves? MN Wolefs?

Mitchy - send me a PM with your RL name, DoB and t-shirt size. We can settle up when I have booked (will sling it all on a credit card and harass you for money when the bill comes Smile)

Mitchy1nge · 29/04/2014 22:10

ok

do I need to paypal some £££ somewhere?

don't mind which day but think am looking at an overnight stay potentially so will research my travelodge options soon
