I am not happy. "d"H lives the life of a single man. I have tried and tried but nothing changes and i cannot carry on like this.

So how do i leave? I have DS who is two, no job and no money.

I need a plan but am so down in the dumps, feel very sorry for myself etc i just can't the energy.

Any suggestions or virtual kicks up the bum welcome

You would get income support, child tax credits , housing and council tax benefit. And of course child benefit and maintenance from child's father.

So you would be 'ok' whilst getting on your feet.

I have tried to discuss counselling but he just goes yeah yeah and then goes out. Most nights run like this comes home, eats dinner
, cleans ds's teeth and then i put ds to bed. Come out to see he is gone. Or i come out, clear up and come out of kitchen to find he is gone. The only time i get to chat is at dinner. I asked last night "how was your day" and he shouted in an aggressive manner "why the fuck you ask such a stupid fucking question" cutlery crashes followed by "you always have to ruin dinner"

To be honest at least he came home, some days he doesn't bother until ds and i are in bed.

I will look into rent assist. I suppose the job centre may have some help?!

Are you sure the marriage is over? No chance of relate or counselling?

If not, then have a think about where you live. Your local council may run the rent assist scheme where they pay your rent advance/deposit.
