I agree with many of your points and the same applies in many areas of the world, which makes these protests interesting. I have also seen Israeli comments online that people don't want to be seen as disloyal over the last few years, and so their comments are usually couched carefully, as questions rather than outright criticisms.

I think the nuclear threat is also very real to Iranians and they also don't want war, long or short. I think there are diplomatic, legal solutions available to both the US and Israel, and from where we are sitting bombing Iran is more about geopolitics power and control than defence. A two state solution in relation to Palestine/Israel is probably the only way of achieving long term peace?
