You have a small group of friends who will feel safer, possibly because you and they believe that a coup in Iran will take the world to the land of rainbows and unicorns. Whereas the Jewish people in the videos who are saying "no" have a better grasp of the realities. Edited to point out that only people who have no knowledge of the history of the region or of the different cultures in the region will believe the rainbows and unicorns - and this is what is being exploited here.
The only people who will benefit from the coup are the small power groups who have pushed for it from the background. They want a coup in Iran and then to take control steadily of the entire region. What you say about Iran is their narrative, not normal peoples' narrative.
I would like to see a 2 state solution allowing for a Jewish state and a Palestinian state, and I think protection of all people including the Jewish people is very important. But reaching a 2 state agreement will require Israel to stop thinking they can take land around them by force. Is that possible, SharonEllis?
