In-laws stuck in Dubai

They’re a bit worried. I’m guessing they’ll be ok, just delayed coming home?

I’ve no previous experience of this kind of thing.

Same ... I only went to break up a trip to Australia and because my daughter wanted to go (she gets influenced by ... well, influencers). It's the only place I've ever visited abroad where I couldn't wait to get back on the plane. I really hated the vibe there.

@Ihatetomatoesi was referring more to missiles dropping on you than inequality of the workforce but yes there’s lots of issues people willingly choose to ignore when they go on holiday there.

We're in a similar situation. DD, her DH and children are stuck in Dubai. They're also due to fly home tomorrow. Beyond worried.

Can’t see airspace opening today. They’ll have to just wait it out. Risk to them personally is very low and they’ll find a fair amount of daily life carrying on as usual. But it’s best to stay indoors.

Are they getting info from local government? They should keep an eye on that for advice. Cary but they should be fine, just delayed
