Israel calling Francesca Albanese a witch!?

I understand anti semite was losing its power to silence but now Israel is calling Francesca Albanese a witch??? At a meeting of the UN?
Has the Israeli government lost it’s mind

Yup, self awareness was never Danny Danons strong point.

Ironically by displaying his misogyny so openly he is alao tacitly accusing anyone who believes Albanese as being easily hypnotised/bewitched and lacking agency, not exactly the way to win friends and influence people.

I think if being called an anisemite has lost its power that's a poor reflection on the person who dorsn't care if they're an antisemite. I thi k you're right though. Some people seem to think its a badge of honour. They are antisemites.

Hmm...the sources claiming this happened are questionable to say the least. Entering your quote into Google leads to that bastion of journalism, "turkiye today", which isnt considered a reputable media outlet. You might want to be a bit more discerning in future and not be so eager to believe any old shite once its anti israel. A further Google reveals that it is actually third person who is claiming this happened and there is absolutely zero evidence that it did.

Do you think he is unaware of the deeply misogynistic connotations of calling a woman a witch? Apart from it just being deeply unprofessional in a forum such as the UN.

i think the term anti semite has been thrown about by Israel so much and used against people who are demonstrably not antisemitic that it has lost it’s ability to shut down justified criticism

Real anti semitism of course should be opposed as all forms of racist, ethnic or religious discrimination or persecution

Albanese responded that such accusations were “absurd.”
“It is bizarre and frankly insane that a state committing genocide cannot address the substance of my findings and resorts instead to calling me a witch,” she added.
“If the worst accusation you can make against me is witchcraft, I’ll take it,” she said.”
