Why is Israel still restricting aid to Gaza?

"Paper, notebooks, pens, erasers, rulers... we've been asking for a long time that these supplies can enter the Gaza Strip and they haven't been allowed in”.

Seems like they won’t even allow the children to get an education.

I agree that the UN needs reform, and a number of major UN organisations are moving to Kenya from the US which is a good thing for many reasons. But some of the INGOs banned are actually quite effective, and banning them, and some of the UN agencies in the short term will undoubtedly lead to further deterioration of the humanitarian organisation. Reform needs to be rational, stragegic and carried out in stages.

The UN and a lot of "International Agencies" are paper tigers. All talk and no action.

It should no longer be based in the USA, a country responsible for and connected to numerous conflicts and who isn't above threatening "encouraging" votes via it's ability to deny a Visa or other sanctions.

The only good thing is now that they've exposed how fundamentally useless they are, reform or replacement will have to happen.

P.s. This is not to denigrate the individual UN employees working across the World in often dangerous places. They are as much victims of the horse trading "talking club" that happens at the executive level.

Because there is no PR person or Company that would advise the Israeli Government to behave the way that they have over the last 2 years+.

Who said it was bizarre to speak about aid being purposefully witheld? Nobody. Ophelia has criticised the Israeli government several times in this conversation. But you are only focussing in Israel with absolutely no culpability for anyone else.

Israel are breaking the terms of the ceasefire deal. Israel are not upholding their responsibilities as occupiers. Those are facts. People can call it 'Israel bashing' if they like but it doesn't make it any less true. They are purposefully withholding aid from traumatised, homeless people and that should be spoken about. I would question the motives of anyone who doesn't think it should be and anyone who can't find it within themselves to condemn those actions. Imagine thinking that it's 'bizarre' for people to speak about aid being purposefully withheld from vulnerable, homeless children? What a world.

The only manipulated people are the ones who repeatedly win the "fell for it again" award after IDF fabrications are exposed, again and again and again and again and again.....

Why did the Hamas commanders in Quatar or Iran want to murder the Israelis most likely to sympathise with Palestinians?

Did you link to the wrong thing? From what you have linked to it appears to be a claim by one individual that has not been independently verified, accompanied by a photo of a few packages of baby food, I don't see a report. Can you link to the report that you read directly instead of a post on X? Or do you mean that you are concerned by one person reporting that this has happened rather than some kind of report after thorough investigation has been done?

The Israeli government is extremist and deserves all the criticism it gets . The majority of Israeli people are probably very conflicted. They probably want security for themselves and also want justice for innocent Palestinians.
The real villains here are Hamas - they played into the hands of the most extreme right wing of Israelis by giving them the excuse they needed.
Hamas ( and their paymasters) are not interested in the well being of Palestinians. They are using this as a proxy conflict to try to destroy Israel.

Yep. But look away. It isn’t really happening. Mysterious planes landing in South Africa. A one way crossing with no right to return. A Gaza strip that is no longer inhabitable? But hey ho.

That is the plan to be fair. Call it voluntary migration or Trump's plan or anything else but ultimately the goal is the area free of Palestinians.
