You might want to check the UN, WHO, and Médecins Sans Frontières reports before dismissing ‘activist doctors’. These aren’t randoms- they’re international medical teams and verified hospital staff. The UN has documented repeated strikes on hospitals, ambulances, and medics. You don’t get 400+ health workers killed by coincidence.

Of course they deserve dignity- that’s exactly why I shared them. Their deaths are being denied, mocked, and erased. The families and medics who documented these children did so precisely because they want the world to see what’s happening.

These children were denied the basic right of food and medical treatment.

I think it should be a standard on forums that children's faces are pixelated. We wouldn't allow photos of our ill children to be posted globally. Everyone, even children, should be entitled to privacy and confidentiality particularly when vulnerable and suffering serious medical conditions.

The footage of the hostages released by Israel was shocking - many held for decades and many held without charge. Some were so emaciated they could not walk - really awful.

Imagine being locked up for years without charge or the right to a trial, beaten and starved. One man found out that his entire family was wiped out by an Israeli bomb just before he was released and just completely broke down. Really sad scenes.

I think it would be more accurate to say what the Palestinians did on Oct 7th to Israelis, and the citizens of other countries who just happened to be there, reached levels of depravity never seen before.

Just noticed a typo. The death rate for a Class 3 famine in a population of 2 million people would be 400 deaths a day, not 40 so 24,000 deaths over 2 months.

In Gaza City, with a population of 500,000, there would have been 100 deaths a day, so 6,000 over
2 months.

There has been 453 deaths reported that were attributed to ‘starvation’ in the whole of Gaza from the beginning of the war up to 30/09/2025 so just under 2 years.

We obviously don’t know if any of the 453 deaths were related to medical conditions, such as generic diseases like cystic fibrosis, or cancer, where malabsorption leading to malnutrition was a factor.

Kind of puts the ‘famine’ into perspective doesn’t it.

It’s also use of banned weapons such as white phosphorus but also bombs that cause amputation deliberately.

International human rights lawyers and orgs agree it does fit the existing definition of genocide but given how let’s say ‘creative’ they have been it can be argued that the definition could be graver.

I think I came across you on another thread where you said the definition of genocide is being redefined so Israel can be accused of it.
