Hamas publically executed 8 blindfolded people in Gaza city last night. They rule the Palestinians by fear.

Does anyone really believe they didn't know exactly what they were doing using innocent people and innocent people's homes to shield the war machine that was dedicated to eradicating the Israeli population?

How odd that people native to the UK for generations should get hay fever, my immunologist brother tells me it's a little more complicated than that.

I don’t think they look thin at all. I’m yet to see a video of celebrating Gazans that look noticeably thin. This famine is alleged to have gone on for many months now, and while I appreciate there probably isn’t the abundance and choice of food they would like due to supply chain problems, you would expect all people to look reasonably thin if not slightly emaciated. Why don’t they?

As for ‘looking thinner than the UK’ the UK is notoriously obese and Gazans are less likely to be obese to start with (60% versus 21%). So they were slimmer to start with and even more vulnerable to weight loss.

It just doesn’t add up. I feel like people are going to start posting mind bending ‘facts’ as to why an apparently starved population has seen an isolated group of 30 people malnourish to the extent they look like a charity video from the 1980s, but the rest of the population maintain a healthy weight and good energy levels.

In every other famine, every person after months is noticeably thin and the children and almost unanimously malnourished. Why is Gaza an exception? Are they trying to amalgamate famine with food insecurity?

The Arabs have lived among the olive trees in Palestine for many generations which is why they have much greater tolerance.

Apparently it is similar in Australia where the indigenous population is also less affected.

If you read it you might get some insight into how malnutrition affects the most vulnerable first. I take it you have not heard doctors reporting on the condition of their patients. For example how wounds which should heal don’t, or how children can look se real years younger than they are through stunted growth.

Can you imagine our children desperately holding out their empty pan to get that soup ladled in to take back to feed a whole family Did you not see them? Were they just being greedy given they must have already had plenty?

When the 4 Gaza Humanitarian Foundation points were set up How could women and children walk miles and miles through the night to one very dangerous food points then carry it home?

Even the men on the streets are certainly far thinner than men in the U.K. Look at their arms and protruding cheekbones. These men also evidently thought it worth walking for hours and risking their lives at the four Gaza humanitarian aid points. 2600 got shot dead and many more wounded while queuing for food. Presumably they did this because they were very hungry.

In such chaos whether or not a person could reach scarce resources, or afford it if a looter were selling it, would depend on their circumstances and where in Gaza they were. Some would be far less able to than others.

That’s it keep repeating the word “genocide”.

A United Nations commission of inquiry says Israel has committed genocide against Palestinians in Gaza.
A new report says there are reasonable grounds to conclude that four of the five genocidal acts defined under international law have been carried out since the start of the war with Hamas in 2023: - killing members of a group, - causing them serious bodily and mental harm,
-deliberately inflicting conditions calculated to destroy the group,
-and preventing births.

It cites statements by Israeli leaders, and the pattern of conduct by Israeli forces, as evidence of genocidal intent.

At least 64,964 people have been killed in Israeli attacks in Gaza since then, according to the territory's Hamas-run health ministry, whose figures are seen as reliable by the UN.

Most of the population has also been
-repeatedly displaced;
-more than 90% of homes are estimated to be damaged or destroyed;
-the healthcare, water, sanitation and hygiene systems have collapsed;
-and UN-backed food security experts have declared a famine in Gaza City.

The Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory was established by the UN Human Rights Council in 2021 to investigate all alleged violations of international humanitarian and human rights law.

The three-member expert panel is chaired by Navi Pillay, a South African former UN human rights chief who was president of the international tribunal on Rwanda's genocide. The two other members are Chris Sidoti, an Australian human rights lawyer, and Miloon Kothari, an Indian expert on housing and land rights.
